[VOTE] Issue 11 – Presenting the Party Presidents (October 16th – Day 696)
PRESENTING THE PARTY PRESIDENTS
The results for yesterday’s Party President Elections are in! This month’s elections saw some newly established parties on the rise, as well as the fall of some large ones.
True Blue Party – TheBlackAdder with 44 votes (100.00%) out of 44
Australian Democratic Socialist Party – Xavier Darkmyre with 72 votes (59.02%) out of 122
Australian National Party – Sir_c0nstant with 54 votes (58.70%) out of 92
Australian Communist Party – Garven Dreis with 23 votes (41.07%) out of 56
Australian Independents – Aussie Vegeta with 36 votes (21.95%) out of 164
Australian Military Party – zaney with 30 votes (100.00%) out of 30
National Pirate Party – Brain O’Donnel with 5 votes (100.00%) out of 5
Procreate and Populate Party (also known as Australian eLabor Party) – Paul Hamon with 48 votes (48.98%) out of 98
More Beer Party – Johnny Citizen with 18 votes (75.00%) out of 24
Awesome Kick Arse Party* - thirdperson23 with 9 votes (75.00%) out of 12
*Note: This party was formerly named "A bunch of f*cking morons" by Coppr after losing his party.. His immature actions have now led to the unfair suspension of thirdperson23, who was sensible enough to revert the name but was mistaken by amdins as adding the profanity beforehand (thank you to Pat Chap for clearing that up).
A further analysis has been published, as always, by H.Nelson here For regular updates on election results, I would recommend subscribing to his newspaper if you haven’t already.
This week, a game bug was addressed that according to the eRepublik Insider, “...was discovered and exploited for a short while, before our engineers could fix it. By opening articles containing -comments, some citizens got their GOLD stolen and sent to some specific accounts.” Luckily the bug has been resolved.
Wargames have also continued regularly, after a period in which no battles were started.
EDITOR’S COLUMN
As many of you would know by now, since Congress Candidature Registration has begun, I would usually have a congressional promise up in this newspaper. However, this week I have not published one because sadly, I am not running for a seat in the Senate.
Due to real life, I am no doubt going to be bombarded with work, which will take up my time and not leave me much to attend to eRepublik. By saying that, I’ll still be able to work and train, but I won’t have any time to browse through the forums, which is a vital aspect of being a senator.
Although I’m not expecting anything to happen, the Raffle, which no one has participated in, will be held on Tuesday. This is a final reminder to anyone who wants to join, and I doubt anything will happen unless people make an effort.
I am also going to purchase a Grain Company for 25 gold; it will be named eAustralian Grain and will have 1 job opening for skill levels 0 to 5. Please message me if you would like a spot and I will organise the job placement; please note that this is on a first come first served basis. If there are more than 5 extra job requests, I may consider expanding the number of job slots.

Nice article. However I just discovered that The Party, that was renamed to "A bunch of f***ing morons" was inappropriately named by Coppr, just before he left the party. It is not actually named by that particular name. I respect his ultimate disappointment over the loss of his political party, but I do not respect his immature reaction.
I have PM Thirdperson23, in hopes that he will resolve this issue shortly.
Voted.
I have renamed the National Australian party back into the Australian National Party again.
OK, that clears up some naming issues I had. I'll update the article with the information (many thanks to you two).
Ha... immaturely... yep thats me, though we were a party of anarchists, so I'll do what ever I want. Problem is, it's now run by a bunch of boring people, who want to make it just like every other party. Yawn!!
Nice roundup as always, CitizenJ!
However I would also recommend you to list parties with their original names and not the one given by the new presidents. That applies to the Australian eLabor too as they were listed under that name during the entire election process.
Thanks btw coppr, because of your actions, Thirdperson23 has been suspended.
You call them boring, yet you did absolutely NOTHING when you were in power? No forum activity, no discussions, no advertisements, no posts, nothing.
Btw, Thirdperson23 renamed it to the Awesome Kick Arse Party. Compared to, 'The Party'. Boring people, are they?
Pat Chap shut up.
OK, everyone, calm down. I just wanted to clear things up; which party names do I need to change?
Hm, interesting. I just joined and I'm still learning but I think I get the gist of what's going on.
Are you a subscriber???
Just asking, but I'd recommend doing so. It helps this paper reahc more people through the number of subscribers, and I make things easy to understand.
