The following are the proceedings of an interview between myself and Guy Baumber. Guy is currently running for Party President in the Australian National Party, so we arranged this interview to give people an insight into his campaign.

eAustralian: Good evening Guy Baumber.

Guy Baumber: Good evening CitizenJ.

eAustralian: As a member of the Australian National Party, you have decided to run for the office of Party President. What are your reasons for doing so?

Guy Baumber: Well I am actually quite disappointed that we are now the number 3 party and that we lost the elections, so I am hoping to change this and make us glorious again.

eAustralian: OK. Would you be able to expand on this and give a detailed explanation of how you will make the ANP "glorious" again?

Guy Baumber: I will make the party glorious by making an ANP member logo to increase awareness of the party, recruiting people by PMing and being more organized for senate elections by moving members to regions beforehand.

eAustralian: What experience do you have in politics?

Guy Baumber: I was Deputy Speaker of the Senate for two terms, I was Vice President of the ANP for 1 term, a Senator for 5 terms, an Apprentice Minister o Foreign Affairs for 1 term and Supreme Court Member of the ANP for 1 term.

eAustralian: That seems to be a lot on your political resume. Are there any significant political decisions you have made in the past that you'd like to highlight?

Guy Baumber: I was against the tax raise. Also I supported the Q5 Hospital amendment which helped Australia gain Q5 Hospital Company, voted yes to Q5 hospital for Queensland and I think New South Wales.

eAustralian: That seems credible. May I also ask what your stance on current issues are?

Guy Baumber: Well, to tell you the truth, ever since I was kicked out of the senate I cannot access senate forums for some reason. Also I am very glad that PEACE has lost 2 important members (Indonesia and Italy). I have always been Pro-Atlantis because I started playing eRepublik when Australia had 1 region and Indonesia had taken them, so I am happy that we have joined EDEN.

eAustralian: OK. Are there any special reasons why you say voters should choose you as the ANP's next party president?

Guy Baumber: I am going to open a contest for members to use their creativity and make a ANP member logo, so they can use it as their avatar, and I will give the winner an award.

eAustralian: Very well; is there anything you’d like to say before we conclude our interview?

Guy Baumber: I will officially support Newt Gingrich for Country President, my Vice President will be Sir_c0nsta, my party advisor will be Bass Junkie, my council will be Iwarrior1 and Corey Blake and my Forum Director sir_consta. My manifesto can also be found here
