To stop a potential "Serbian dictatorship" via regular Congress elections, let's disband Congress and have an even worse dictatorship right now!

If losing congress is your issue, then we could create a fake congress as such, where parties can elect players to represent them. Then these players can then discuss and vote laws which the CP can pass. This would keep the democracy still while removing players their rights of accepting citizens into the country.

Of course, we'd have to have a trusted citizen in power like I said above, to ensure that everyone plays fair, so Vendetta wouldn't have a CP any time soon 🙂

Idea is not entirely bad, but you forgot that beside imaginary serbian "enemies", you stilll have real enemies, who would be very happy to use the situation. Have you already forgotten invasions of France, Norway and Taiwan? Also, it's a looong term plan, with no guarantee of success, last thing any politician need is to have bonus on production.

Also, you can write-off Iron in West Midlands, there wouldn't be any contact with capitol, so, no bonus.

Ah good point, that is something I missed. But adding an extra region to the list I think wouldn't cause too much of an issue unless we also had South East of England which could open ourselves up to France IF they gain their regions back from Chile, but we'd get back a cattle resource.

Well, if you want 3 regions, why not 4, or 5? That brings you back to start, I'm afraid. :/ And, there's too many IFs, plan is far from solid.

And the number of regions should be minimized so that there are less regions to loss and retake each month resulting in less hassle.

Serbian's are not imaginary enemies, they are in an alliance who we are against, therefore, they are real enemies. Not to mention the number in UK increase's by the day.

With the three regions we would have left, we would only have borders with Belgium and Netherlands who do not pose any threat to us. Of course there is possibility of an Airstrike, but given the result last time, I doubt anyone would be stupid enough to waste the gold and energy and I am sure we could fight it off easily if one was to occur.

So if we have a strong ally, such as Poland, take our regions, our last three regions will be quite well protected.

True, what I had in mind are Serbs with eUK citizenship. Too bad government does nothing on inviting genuine eUK-ans to the game. :/

Air strikes happen all the time, it doesn't relate too much to stupidity, especially when some country makes a run from occupation in original regions. Small and/or weak countries are perfect targets, and that would include eUK, in scenario you described.

It's nice to have strong ally, but you can't always expect from allies to clean up your mess.

I think the problem with trying to get more people to play is that the game is pretty crap 😛

It wouldn't be a mess, it would be more like a kinda deal. They help us by taking our regions, then they gain tax from us while they have those regions. This of course brings up the issue of us losing money from tax, but I am sure the eUK has plenty of spare cash to keep us a float money wise.

Anyway, if eUK wants to military resolve political situation so bad, I would suggest conquering new regions and gaining new resources. That would bring back eUK-ans who left the country and encourage newcomers.. My solution isn't best, but I would always choose a solution that makes country stronger, instead weaker.

I agree, territorial rental is very often. But, after two or three months of having few regions would drain any reserve, without replenishing. Not to mention how lousy eUK would look, far from "great country".

And, just a reminder, all of that is because of, maybe, a hundred of possible PTO-ers? That leaves the rest of more than 1500 citizens, so, eUK is very weak or those PTO-ers are very, very clever and, why shouldn't I say, powerful.

We're not strong enough to start conquering countries so that is out of the question.

The UK has no where near 1500 active citizens, only around 450 citizens voted in the congress elections and around 50-100 are community active. There are around 40 odd Serbians at least in UK already and while Vendetta has congress, that number increases.

And they are quite clever and powerful. A few months back USA was under a major PTO threat which was close to being successful and they are 3 times the size of us.

They don't have the power to PTO us at that level... At this point the PTO is still in its "middle stages" (winning Congress places and bringing more voters in).

This has the potential to work, but it requires the united will of the people and an understanding that it is not going to be resolved in the short term. Keeping some regions for bonuses except at Congress elections could make this a bit less distasteful, but it also means there has to be careful coordination with the cooperating country.

What the... Did most of backstabbers from New Era change their nicknames or what? After a complete failure of "ATO" plan you think this would work? First, you wouldn't have your weapons' bonuses. Second, this would hurt only the new players and those already struggling with the food. Third, what if some of the RWs go unplanned? Just another waste of time and resources in the making...

Did you even read it? The whole point of this is to be able to remove congress and still HAVE weapon bonuses for the majority of the month. Second, as Perry has pointed out, new players have the NHS for food. And the RW's would go to plan if people pulled together to protect the UK.

And at even if in the end we did this and it failed, at least I am trying to contribute to solving the issue rather than sitting their doing nothing.

I also am going to point out to anyone reading this that Ser Fartsalot has done 1 billion damage for Serbia, was in Serbia before he came to UK on the 3rd of May and his CS was accept by another Serbian. So I think it is safe to assume that he is most likely apart of the Serbian PTO.

This adaptation from rory's suggestion, has its own set of advantages and drawbacks.

Rory's idea would need a big and broad support for a long period of time with a lot of vigilance and willingness from the general public to do this.
This idea would make it easier to gather support, but it would require more monitoring and coordinating.

Unfortunately, I do not think that a majority in the eUK is willing to execute either plans, but it is important that they are discussed.

If you want to stop the influx of Serbs, the parties that aren't bringing them in should all unite behind one or two candidates and make sure they take enough of the votes that they get all the seats in Congress. Or find a way to deport those who let the Serbs in.
