[USWP] Rise of the Undead

Greetings Zombies and others,

I thank all those of you who voted for me and helped elect me to be the Zombie King for the month of July-August 2013. With America facing stronger foes than itself on the battlegrounds, and wiped out from the map, we as a country need to look for a rejuvenation in our community. As Party President of the United States Workers Party, I will not let you down.



The United States Workers Party has been the beneficiary of both a gift and a curse through its high stature. We are a party of raw strength, under the right circumstances. We've seen the lows that the USWP can be brought to, and we've seen its immense strength under the right leadership. Like America as a nation in its current state, the USWP as a political party has been written off many times during its lifetime but it has returned and rebounded, always stronger than before. This month will be one of those months. As Party President, I intend to continue our revival in the past few months and transcend new heights as we do so.



What you can expect from Wild Owl as the Zombie King:

1) We will ensure the Member Services department is fully functional.
a. New Player Recruitment
b. Unaffiliated Recruitment

New Player Recruitment is already in progress, we currently send a message out to every new player to this game. This will be continued this month although the workload will be divided among a greater set of players.

Unaffiliated Recruitment will be handled by an unaffiliated player task force, using the online player list and our Database to entice unaffiliated players to join the United States Workers Party.

2) Glorifying the United States Workers Party
a. Restarting USWP writing programs that reward new players and encourage old ones
b. Publishing merits of the USWP.
c. Using Imagery to display party unity.
e. Displaying activity on the forums and IRC.

Over the past month, the USWP as a party was unable to keep up a significant media presence because of general inactivity. However, we will be rectifying that this month. The USWP leadership intends to - and will be - restarting our various programs encouraging our newer members to share their thoughts with us in eRepublik. You can also expect timely updates by the party leadership about the going-ons that affect us as a community.
By promoting the USWP on the national scene, more people are attracted to it. By bringing in a flow of already active players, we can support of leadership policy, as well as greatly augment recruitment. New players that participate in our writing programs will be tasked with writing articles about the USWP. Regardless of the quality of those articles, which would improve over time, its free publicity for the USWP.

3) Educate our members to serve at the Congressional and Executive Level

The USWP does not only intend to recruit members to boost up its member base, it seeks to educate them about ingame mechanics and the metagame that is a vital part of government in eUSA. A larger pool of players that are well versed and invested in the game can only be good for our party and the country. Considering that we are party that boosts the most number of Country Presidents in eUSA history - there has been a USWP president on 24 occasions- you can be assured that this isn’t empty rhetoric, we can actually deliver the goods when it matters most.
