~USA DOES NOT Support Recent Spanish Actions~

Day 362, 15:28 Published in USA USA by Benn Dover

Since we're all jumping the gun here and declaring things non-sensibly, I, as President of the eUnited States of America, announce that our great country does NOT approve of the actions taken by PrUdEn (Pres. of Spain) and the Spanish congress.

I speak of the Declaration of War: Spain -> Portugal. ( http://www.erepublik.com/en/Spain/law/808 ). Spain has been frustrated with Portugal ever since they declared war on Mexico, taking the only region that borders Spain and Mexico - Campeche. This may be an act of revenge, which would have lead to it being poorly thought out, which are the reasons why I do not support their actions.

Citizens, soldiers, Americans, Atlantis members, do NOT move to Spain. Already the vote to suspend Spain's actions in Atlantis has been proposed. If the declaration of war passes congress, and battles start, hell will break loose like it has not in Erepublik before. Two countries, two unexpected proposals, two different alliances, one bad result.

To the citizens of Spain: I hope that you look down upon your president for his careless actions. Not only is Spain going against the contract of Atlantis (http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Treaty_Of_ATLANTIS#Article_VI) by declaring war without prior notification to each Atlantis country, but they also are going against the contract by not supporting the troops in Argentina, where war has been declared upon by Brazil.

America will continue on the path of waiting for war, but knowing past Brazilian actions, Brazil is probably too cowardice to start a battle.

Thank you for staying patient, Americans.

From your President,
Bennjamin Dover

P.S. - All citizens requesting ambassador spots, please be patient. I am very busy with the recent events happening in our country.

Despite Spain's lack of communication, Atlantis, as well as the United States is willing to overlook this minor offense and move on to focus on the more important things. The vote to suspend Spain will not take place. I hope the citizens of Spain are as forgiving and excited for this war as the United States is for the upcoming Brazilian-Argentinian war!

Ooh-Rah!
