**Updated** eUSMC Requirements & Recruitment
Internally those have been the new minimum requirements to join the eUSMC for a while now, this article makes them official.
Strength: 14+
Rank: General+
Of course activity and dedication is still more important than pure stats and exceptions may be granted on a case by case basis.

In order to join the holy ranks of the eUSMC, you have to meet the following requirements:
Strength: 14+
Rank: General+
Activity: Very High. This is no place for 2-clickers. You need to check eRep and our forum for orders several times a day. You need to be flexible and able to deploy on short notice. Furthermore IRC activity is highly encouraged.
Description: In a nutshell - we are eMerica's finest.
The Marines are a brotherhood of the most strong and dedicated soldiers the eUS and the eWorld has to offer. We are the first and most frequent to deploy, we get the best weapons and we take those brick walls down in no-time.
Our enemies fear us and our allies love us.

I'm glad to see that the elite eUSA military is making it's voice.
[rant]Well, talking about eUS Military, with all due respect, I could be anymore regretful and disappointed. I submitted my application to TD when I was Level 6, on my first few days when I could fight. Now, I am level 14 and with 4+ Strength. I have got no reply, no PM, nothing, from TD.[end rant]

Afaik the TD is really flooded with applications since this war started.. 1000+ applications and only few people to handle those applications.

Yang: I had the same deal. I applied to the TD my 2nd day playing, and it took 2 weeks for them, with multiple applications, to finally get in. It'll happen eventually, just stick with it.
I hope the Marines will remain intact regardless of America's territorial state, and that it remains the center of American resistance activities. Please keep us up to date on what the Marines are doing so we can follow them to liberty!
lol Joseph Schmo is almost to 12, too! Heartbreaking, haha.
If it's any consolation, I have yet to hit 10, so...yeah.

In the time that I've gone from MI material to Airborne Material, the strength requirement for Marines has gone up... the difference between MI material and Airborne material.

someone complained about the strength grows as we grow, and it was a paper when i first joined, said us newbies have no shot at making the marines, becuse the strength level keeps raising higher and higher as our strenth grows higher and higher, it should be set at one strength level and not keep going up, like have it 15, no higher no less. just a thought because i was disapointed when i read that mail
@metsrdabom - if that was the case and just left the requirements at 1 str level all the time, ie 15 as you said, then within a few months we would have too many requests from citizens wanting to join.
That would put extra strain on the offiers in the marine and for the QMG staff who have to supply weapons.
Also we wouldnt have a viable funding regiem as we would just keep asking for more money from congress as time goes on because we have that many ppl.

The marines will forever be upping the strength requirement. One day, I will wake up to find it at 20.
Marines always raise it just beyond my reach. I swear to God they use my strength as their gauge of when they raise the requirements.

The eMarines try to raise their requirements because they already know that eAirborne > eMarines always. lol

Hm. In World War II the Japanese concentrated on training and equipping a small number of elite top-notch fighter pilots, while the U.S. instead focused on training pilots who were simply good, but far more numerous. Remember who won that fight.
Elite units are all well and good. The eUSMC has fought hard, but there's something severely wrong with a military that views too many qualified applicants as a problem instead of an opportunity.
I'll pass. I'm not going to even TRY to join.

Let's put it this way. The eU.S. Training Division has no requirements. It's been swamped by over a thousand new trainees. There's simply not enough officers to handle them.

So appoint more officers. Restructure, if that will help. Adapt. It's clear that for all the hard fighting put in, the current eUSA military set-up isn't working. Each of those new potential recruits represents a lost opportunity, a player that could become a powerful soldier. Each one that keeps applying for the training division (or another branch, if they're qualified) and sees their requests unanswered also hurts morale and motivation.
