I talk as ambassador to introduce you “ UP! ”. UP! (United Progressists) is an organization of parties whose aim is to promote and achieve that goals, by both politic and direct independent actions.



UP! Manifesto
International Cooperation and real local Actions, intended to give Players good reasons to have fun and stay in eRepublik, as well as helping our Countries to grow strong.

Behind all the nice words we are using in the game, eRepublik is still “a game”, our countries and parties are communities, and we all citizens … are in the end players in a great and strange world. If we want to help our countries (communities) to grow stronger, what eRep needs is more *Happy and Informed Players*, and Gov/Congress that cares about that point, more than politics itself.

In our activity we'll take in consideration “countries needs” and “players expectations”, as the both sides of the medal. Within UP! we'll have both talks moments, discussing politics, “but also” real Actions possibles with our parties.

1) The United Progressists is an organization of parties whose aim is to promote and achieve that goals, by both politic and direct independent actions;

2) The founder parties are the Italian party 'Rinascita eItaliana' and the French party 'Union des Libres Penseurs';

3) The entrance in the organization is free, on condition that the party, which make request, recognize itself in the ideals and projects promoted by the organization itself;

4) The parties, members of United Progressists, undertake themselves to share proposals, project and ideas;

5) The matters, object of this international exchange, are:
a) Economics;
b) National Organization
c) Internal organization of political parties
d) Information
e) Fun

The membership of the organization doesn't force parties to take similar positions in foreign policy, as our talks and actions are intended to help all players from any country, whatever the diplomatic relations could be between them at the moment.

The basic principles:

A. Every country, from tiny to empire, “needs” a growing base of happy active players, who would be glad to connect each day, and spend some time advancing that game and interacting with the others. It's also crucial for every countries, that less players ending up as DeadCitizen because the lack of support , information, motivation. Our countries need to grow, and keep citizens alive.

B. Players, they (we) just *want* to have fun, spending less time for learning “how eRep works”, find some good reasons to came back daily (politics, military, journalism, or just cool talks), making new friends … what else ? That's life. They would also be glad to know how to avoid spending real money or make the difference between real information or MU/Parties propaganda.


Considering that and in support to that goals, the UP! Manifesto principles have two parts :

1. Things, that we actually “can do” with our parties, with no approval needed from the congress or the gov. That can be a lot of real actions intended to help new players to find their way to play, interact with others … and stay. In the same time, experienced players can share their advice and knowledge if we are offering them real interesting projects. Within UP! members we'll share our own actions tested and ideas that actually works, or find new ones and go ahead testing. Less words more Actions !

2. Things that we “can try”, like initiating political reforms, thinking about institutions. It's the expertise part of the UP! Movement, that brings together politics, diplomats, military chefs, from around eRep world, to analyze what's happening to the world and counties, and producing neutral advice and reports on what could be a good path in order to make things better for all.
