[UKPP] PP Election

Day 2,419, 11:30 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Grampa Alfagrem

Well its been just about one whole month of UKPP doing it 'narwhal' style and we've achieved quite a few things in that time;

+ Climbed off our death-bed
+ Back into the top 3 eUK parties
+ Elected 8 Congressmembers
+ Held a well attended party conference
+ Have kept all members up to date and involved as possible through PMs
+ Held our first 'Foreign affairs' ballot
+ Bought out our first social program.

There are still a number of issues we as a party have to workout namely;

A full discussion on ATO positions.
A ballot on an MU.
Working out party position to give them some proper meaning.
Detail our investment program.

So over the following 9 days I'll be working through that list, getting stuff done.

However the investment program has stalled!

This is down to the fact that the whole UKPP system was designed to function in a wipe and therefore when we are down to v.few regions and next to no bonuses we are treading water so to speak rather then generating excess profit to be re-invested.

After these 9 days have expired then we will have a new PP ready to lead the party forwards as I have decided not to stand for re-election.

Whilst I enjoyed my time as your PP, The demands of walking the line between the 2 polarising factions are harder then anticipated and requires a tact, discretion and detached personality that I'm not very well known for possessing.

So, to any potential UKPP PP's I offer you the following advice;

*Friend as many party members as possible to not only get yourself known but so that you may quickly send out PM updates, open ballots or form small focus groups to discuss anything before you blunder into a decision.

*Get publishing articles. Somehow I've managed to output a decent quantity of material over the last month and it'd be a shame to see that presence becoming absent once again.

*Don't be afraid to spread the load. Not something I can lay much claim to doing this month as I kept everything rather centralized trying to get us back up and running but only by taking on volunteers can you lighten your own burden but also identify the hardworkers and stars of tomorrow.
