Join the new world

Another late evening, another UKPP article.

Today, my fellow party members, I want to take the time to talk about Participation.

It doesn't matter if you have 10 or 1000 Party members without participation it counts for nothing. We don't want to see UKPP once again descend into mediocrity. Activity these past two weeks has been higher than it has been for the past few months, lets see what we can all do to keep that going.

So with that said, it is my goal as Party President to up the level of participation, collaboration and engagement from as many members as possible on as many topics as possible. I will attempt to achieve this through regular Articles, Shouts and Private Messages.

Therefore, today's article will focus on Party Positions as this is the best and most effective way to get involved with your Party.





What I want to do is list the positions available and my expectation for each of them.

Vice President:

The Vice President will be the number two point of contact if I am unavailable. They will speak with the same authority as I do and be a true leader for other members to aspire towards. It is important they share the same visions and values I do in making the UKPP the best party in eRepublik. Activity and Energy is a must.

General Secretary:

The General Secretary is another important position and I place great responsibility on them. Their role will be to look out for the welfare of the Party from both internal and external threats. This covers PTO threats, malicious member threats and the threat the party poses to itself through inactivity. They will identify areas of weakness and enact action plans before a threat becomes fatal. Activity and a desire to see no harm comes to UKPP is a must.



Councillor:

The Councillor will be the go between of the hardworking UKPP'er and the Party President, Vice President and Party Congressmen. Their role is to ensure we are enacting UKPP Policy at the highest level of Government and that if opinion in the Party shifts we are aware of it so we can adapt accordingly. A successful Candidate will have a passion for Politics and have a desire to learn current and shifting UKPP Policy.

Spokesman:

The last position up for grabs is Spokesman. A journalistic flair is desired for this job role requires the Candidate to release regular Party Articles to keep the masses updated with how the UKPP is preforming as well as encourage others to join our way of life. It will also be expected for the Spokesman to promote all articles written by Party members through Shouts, Shares, Comments and Messages.

I will also reach out to members I feel will do well in these roles to see if I can encourage them to apply.

Regardless, the applications will remain open for as long as the Party Positions remain vacant.
