Hello thar' once again my fellow members and welcome to my look back on the past week in the only party containing a genetically programmed slayer of Cthulu - The UKPP.
Seven days ago the party had reached a low point and was in a very tight spot after various PTO shenanigans, pressure to fold & merge with a general neglect that quite rightly led to our nadir
So would the party that re-introduced the Royal Navy to the world, spawned a host of established players, laughed at Moral fags and their RP and the party that broke the political system slip quietly into the night?
It would appear to be 'NO'
Over the past week we have seen old friends return to the fold, new members commit to the promise of the party and an encouraging return to debate and activity.
The job is by no means finished as there is much to be done if we are to return our community to the way it once was and after the PP elections in the next few days it is my intent (should I win.......but I'll do it anyways) that the party will be;
1) Organising a Party Conference to discuss updating our policies, our views on the hot topics of the eUK and giving our party a little more structure and easing the burden on those who are super-active and promoting those who are keen and willing to assist.
2) Roll out the remaining UKPP social programs. We have another two ready to go depending on certain MoD developments.
3) Recruit and Retain. We're not going to be the #1 party nor should we indeed aim to be as 'ZOMG POWAH!' is not our communities mission.
The UKPP was, is and shall be focused on the retention of new players and their development into the next batch of AW's, Mick Cains, Wayne Kerrs etc...
Aside from catching up with events, gameplay, rumour and doing the math for the social programs I have spent most of my time off-site recruiting!
Tis' often a forlorn process but as we have numerous parties fishing in the small pool provided by regular sign-ups - This offers one of the best methods of bringing in fresh blood, self-sufficent groups and new ideas from these gamers that are not tainted nor naive enough to be influenced by any issues that have historically existed in the eUK.
I hope that you will give them all a warm welcome and help them out in any way possible.

Whilst I could go into a super long post, I'll try be brief.
The UKPP and RN lasted long after my involvement in them ceased because we were able to set-up proper organisation, establish principles and invested in enough leaders (spiritually and financially) that it was able to keep on going.
In 1V that was not the case as my time there was too short a season.
The returning UKPP will follow the same principles as when it began and ensuring it can continue to function long after I've moved back into the shadows will certainly be something I'll look to ensure.
You are to modest, of course you will win the PP election! 🙂

Alfa, Why do you make me choose between my party & principles, and lots of shiny stuff? you know how appealing the shiny stuff is?
You also still have another 2 weeks of duty to your electors to congress to fulfill first.
If your party is fun, engaging and supportive then there's no need to leave them unless another party is more geared towards what you want.
Our policies (pre-conference) remain much as they were in that they are low-tax, small gov, social (not MU) funding.
On top of which we try not to mouth niceties and use the regular politico speech but try to be rather more direct and fact based.

clearly i was the *UNMENTIONED* disappointment in the UKPP brood ;_;
There's so many to mention that when I refer to the 'brood' I generally use 3 examples and rotate them as I go excepting for circumstances as in the case above with them not (At the time) being in the UKPP and therefore making the point we're not an insular looking and isolationist group.
