[UKGov]UK Today #4 - New Changes

Day 1,788, 15:58 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by eUK Home Office

Hello and welcome to yet another edition of the UK Today, the less popular supplement to the seemingly popular “Guide to…” articles! Today’s article is issue number four and today we’ll be taking a look at the latest update, as well as a way for players to secure loans for their companies.

To begin, let’s take a look at the newest implementation by the eRepublik admin team. And don’t worry, this one isn’t too bad! If you go to the politics tab in the society page (or by clicking here if you don’t know how) you may notice something. Now we have a category named “Political Titles”. At the time of writing we have four titles; Prime Minister (In this case representing the Minister of Legislative Affairs) - Blue and Evil, Minister of Foreign Affairs – Kravenn, Governor (The new title of the Minister of Finance. Represented by the current Deputy President due to the fact that the MoF doesn’t have UK citizenship so cannot be given the title) – ErgoDeus and Minister of Education – Betafoxtrot (me!).

If you’re wondering why this is a good change and why it’s remotely helpful then I’ll tell you. It means you can view any country and see their cabinets at a glance, so it will make Ambassador’s jobs much easier! But it also means that people can easily find people they need to contact. People who need help can easily find the Minister of Education, people who want a job in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs they can easily find the Minister. A simple change, but in my opinion a welcome one.

If you go to your party page you’ll see there’s also some titles there too, Vice-President, Secretary General, Councillor and Spokesman. Vice-President and Spokesman should be fairly obvious what their job is, the other two I honestly don’t know. However, it does mean that it’s easier to find the people you’re looking for and, unless you’re in hiding, that can only be a good thing!

As I said in the last article, the NHS relies on donations from the public to keep going, so if you have an amount of food clogging up your inventory space, or you’d just like to help support new players, then you can donate to BlueandEvil, no matter how much or how little we’ll be very grateful for it!

If you missed the last article and want to know about the alliances of the eWorld, past and present, you can do so by reading the latest Encyclopædia Britannica article by clicking right here.

We still have another 11 articles to release before the end of the month and if you know anything about the subjects, we want your help!

The subjects yet to be published are:
[b- The Politic Module
- The War Module
- The Economy Module
- Top 5 Parties of the eUK, Past and Present
- Militaries of the eUK
- Past Governments and Structures
- Forums & IRC
- Military Units of the eUK
- Library Project/Tutorials
- And lastly; Countries of the eWorld.[/b]

If you have any information about any of the above then feel free to PM me! Also, I'm looking to make some new logos and update some images if there's anyone out there who's any good at photoshop, PM me if you have the time to, too 😃

Thanks for reading the third instalment of UK Today. Due to the popularity of our game in the last article, and due to Goku not commenting (spoilsport!), we’ll be running the “Comment before Goku” game again! The rules are simple; All you have to do is vote and comment, that’s all! There of course is a catch. To win, you have to be the last comment before Goku Jones comments. The last person before he comments will win 10 Q7s and the person who commented before that person will get 5 Q7s. Only your first comment will count so judge when you post carefully, you never know when he’s lurking around.

EDIT: Due to Goku not commenting, we're carrying on the game to the next article until he does! You can play the game by clicking here!

Thanks for reading, and good luck!
