Since leaving Terra, the eUK has sought to strengthen its relations with a plethora of nations from across Europe and the world. One such country is of course Spain who, over the past month and to some extent beyond, have shown immense and considerable support towards the eUK.

Spain’s contribution to eRepublik cannot be understated. A nation bonded by passion, belief, terrible trolling and the velocity to overwhelm even the puniest of foes, the eSpanish people can be proud of their contribution to her allies on (whoever they may be on any given day) and (to a certain extent) her greatest foes. And for that, the eUK salutes you!



We also recognise that our nation’s relationship with Spain is not great. For a long time, we have stood against one another on opposing fields, half heartedly supporting our allies in their endeavours. However, as we enter a new age, all nations have found themselves re-assessing their relations and even building new friendships, none more frequently or casually than the eUK. Serbia, Macedonia and Hungary themselves have found forged a good grip on Spain's leash in ONE, and the strong relations bound by military battles is testimony to this. However, perceptions change (especially in the eUK), and have to the belief that we would like to further be supported by your nation.

As such, we are willing to wait until your population forgets how terribly unreliable and fickle the eUK has been, and either find some use for us or take pity on us. We understand the process of kissing up to you will be hard and slow, but we are determined to become an occasional tool for, and permanent drain on you too. But considering how long we have been against one another, it will be clear that patience will be required before we can truly call ourselves friends. As such, we will give as much time available to your nation that you may require to fully accept us. We will wait, listen, talk, fellate and discover a diplomatic tie together, at whatever pace you set, so that we can ensure a fleeting relationship of dependence before we turn on you too.
