Join the new world

Like explained in the part 1 : it wasn’t possible to talk about all our allies inside a single article. On this part : we will finish talking about TWO members and begin to talk about ACT ones.

It was scheduled to publish this article sooner but my apologies, I’m currently ill and I prefer to rest than writing a lot of articles. I hope that you will understand.



Slovenia
Never underestimate Slovenia, even if they have around the same amount of citizens as UK : they are very strong. Slovenia is one of the most courageous countries that I know of : they can send NE proposal to a country who is 2 times stronger than them and still win. It’s been more than 3 years that we have been friends and there is no reason to stop doing that.

UK and Slovenia have almost the same amount of population, it means that these 2 countries are quite linked. Slovenia has lot of valuable citizens (Smoothziga, medicinec, Mr Cacko, …) . Another good point : they never looked to be “rulers of the world’ (or the alliance).

On an internal plan : Slovenia is quite stable, which is often interesting. Their troops are often ready to help their allies, and for these reasons, Slovenia is quite appreciated.

Sadly, during november 2013, Howly (Slo CP) created tension between Slovenia and several TWO members (mainly Spain) but also with the alliance. Current Slovenian cabinet (Led by Smoothziga) is trying to solve these tensions.
If you want to summarize Slovenia : Small country by the size, fearless warriors and a huge heart.

Did you know … Slovenia was able to defeat Poland? In 2010, these 2 countries weren’t on the same side (Slovenia was in Phoenix and Poland in Eden). Poland after their big babyboom (60.000 citizens) caught Rhone alpes (which had almost the same importance as Aquitaine now). Cost of a resistance war there was more than 1000G (more citizens on a region, more the RW cost). After a failed try, Slovenia was able to catch a border with Rhone Alpes and defeated Poland in an epic battle.


Greece
Greece is a recent ally. UK and Greece weren’t on the same side since 2009.
Despite that, there was no hate or hostilities between our countries. We were only opponents on the battlefield.

After Eden’s fall, Greece decided to be near the TWO sphere. Their reason is quite simple : their main enemy (Fyrom) is CoT member.
These last ones consider “Macedonia” as legit in their country name when it is a greek region.

Even if the relation is young : it is a good one between UK and Greece.
On June 2013, they decided to join TWO and they are the 7th member of the alliance.

Also : Greece is a very strong country. They have the 3rd most firepower in Europe (Only Serbia and Poland are doing more than them). With a strong firepower, mature, friendly fighters are ready to help you : Greece is highly respected.

Did you know In real life : around 25% of the Greek population lives in Macedonia but on Erepublik : it is around 50% of the greek population who is Macedonian


Estonia
We share a long time friendship with Estonia, even we weren’t always on the same alliance. After the collapse of Phoenix (where UK was a founding member), we were shortly in Terra before being pro ONE and joining that alliance.
About Estonia, they created ABC which means Alliance of Baltic Countries. That alliance was a regional one but shared excellent links with us.

It isn’t a surprise to see them in ACT at this moment. Baltic countries have a good reputation : always here to help, … regardless of their population



Latvia

Latvia joined ACT on the same time as Estonia. Like I said for Estonia : we always shared a good friendship with them. They were also on ABC with Estonia and Lithuania. These 3 countries are a solid block against Russia.

Latvia is also one of the strongest ACT country (Just after Lithuania and around the same than Republic of China (Taiwan)).


Lithuania

The last baltic country . When ABC (who was friends with UK) was dissolved : they decided to join CoT (Unlike Estonia and Latvia) However, UK always had good relations with Lithuania. They helped to save our country during Eden’s invasion of 2012.

On May 2013, they decided to leave CoT to join ACT, it is mainly due to that CoT tried to negotiate with Asgard and also Russia as CoT trial country.
They are the stronger of the 3 baltic countries.



Republic of China

Around 6 months ago, they joined ACT. In the past, we were on different alliances (UK in ONE or TWO and Republic of China in Eden). After Eden felt, they had interest to join our side.

They dislike USA and share natural border with them (via Hawaii). Having allies in Europe is important for them (their population is mainly local) and they are in a different time zone from main TWO countries (GMT + 8 ).

When an important campaign is launched during the european night : They are often one of the first countries to join the battlefield. They are one of the stronger ACT members



Venezuela

They are the only member in South America. In April - May 2013, they had a baby boom and UK gave them almost 950k health. It helped to build stronger relations with them.

To contact them, it is easier to send PM. Remember that they are in South America : don’t try to see them on irc before 1.PM.

They are nice guys and our initiative to help their babies was greatly appreciated. UK has a long relation with them and it is a pleasure to help them (mainly against Mexico). They are often here to help us during european nights.
