[UK MoFA] UK and its allies part 1 : Poland - Serbia - Spain - Hungary

Well, we just decided to write some articles about UK and its allies. We know that most of our older citizens know who are our allies, but it can be harder for your young ones. Why we are allied with them, when it began, …

That’s why we found interesting to launch some article about them : it is a good proof of friendship between UK and them. But talk about every UK ally in one article should have the result to have a very long one. That’s why it will be splitted in several parts, beginning by TWO members and finishing by proTWO friends.

Whatever on the part where your country will be located : You are all near from our heart. You helped us well and we are always doing our best to give you the same. For UK, you are a kind of family.



Poland

Poland is one of the strongest countries in Europe and also in the world. For a long time, we were on the opposite side (they were Eden, we were Peace and Phx). It began to change when ONE was created. PL switched and signed MPP with Hungary (they have good relations in RL).

When UK has proONE status, we signed a MPP with Poland. Since that moment, a great relationship was created. Many time, they helped and saved us (especially against France).

Poland has a strong relation with Spain. That relation is called “Spoland”

Did you know … that Poland was able to have the biggest babyboom in Erepublik ? : In 2010, they had around 60.000 citizens, twice more than the second largest country. It was the first time, they had colonies in France



Serbia

One of our oldest friends, Serbia always been with us and many times have helped us. They know that we aren’t the strongest country, but they know that we are loyal and always ready to help them. Serbia already fought very hard to help our country (even lose their capital for UK).

On v1, we helped them to keep their colonies in Asia. Fighting for Serbia is clearly an honour.

Due to real life issues, Serbia has bad relations with some countries like Croatia, Bosnia and Albania. However, they share good ones with Slovenia.

Serbian - Hungarian friendship is called “SerHun”

Did you know… that Serbia had Colony in China ?
Before admins made a lot of changes on the war module, Serbia used Russia to take the chinese region “Liaoning”, That region has iron (which was rare at that time)



Spain

A bit like Poland, our relation began in our ONE days, when they left Eden. It is one of our strongest allies with Serbia and Poland. Like I said, they were on the other side till ONE was created.

Spain proved they are here to help and protect us, we also helped them on several campaigns. We enjoy receiving many of their citizens who come over to us and find a great sense of community.

Like we said on Pole chapter : Spain has a strong relation with Poland. That relation is called “Spoland”

Did you know … that UK was able to have some Spanish regions ?
It happened when a Spanish CP (Ramso) made a ragequit and organised with France and UK a way to catch Asturias (which was the richest region on that moment). France was only used for the bridge between UK and Spain. Sadly, it failed, when a foreign CP (Canada ?) was able to the move and Jamesw attacked the wrong spanish region. 3 Days later, UK lost these spanish regions.



Hungary

The catalyst for the UK joining PEACE was letting Hungary rent regions in Scotland that they used to invade the USA. Many old players in the UK still remember these times as the most fun in all the years they have played the game. The UK and Hungary have remained firm allies ever since.

This was a pivotal moment for the UK, coming not long after the breakup of the ATLANTIS super alliance, and paving the way for the UK to make some lasting friendships with countries it had previously been opposed to. At the time there had been a lot of friction with the UK and the USA, Spain and others that were trying to make an alliance called Fortis, so Hungary’s proposal came at a great time.

Hungary has been a staunch ally ever since, and it’s a privilege to fight for them on the battlefield.

Like mentioned earlier : Hungary shares a good friendship with Serbia, this relation is called “SerHun”

Did you know … that Hungary had a colony in China ? Before Serbia, Hungary was able to reach China (but I don’t remember the way used). It was in 2009-2010 and they caught Heilongjiang (called Hello Kitty). That region had iron resource (which was quite rare at that time) and helped Hungary to have a lot of money.
