Anthony Colby has given me Winslow Homer, an American landscape painter and printmaker, best known for his marine subjects. He is considered one of the foremost painters in 19th century America and a pre-eminent figure in American art.

"New Novel" is a bit of redundant title. But those painters are not known for there grammar or whatever. Posing for "Life Line" would have been horrific. Maybe it paid well.
