[Ten]Let's Return to Greatness - a POTUS Article

My fellow Americans,

I come to you today under circumstances which we haven’t felt in a long time. After months of struggle, PTO threats, and low economic bonuses, America has arrived in a patch of stability. For the first time in a while, our foreign policy is not only clear, but it is set in stone. Thanks to various CPs and cabinets, we have established ourselves not only as a member of CoT, but as a true ally as well. Furthermore, we’ve continued to maintain fantastic relations with many of our bros, especially Albania, Brazil, and Russia. If you look at the elections, the AFA and its allies are reeling, losing both support and numbers as each day passes, while our allies provide ATO support every election, which coupled with the excellent coordination between parties and the government has greatly strengthened our position and ability to quell this threat for good. And finally, President Vanek has begun to improve our economic bonuses, starting with renting Baja from our allies from the south, Mexico.

While America has been steadily improving, the eWorld around us is beginning to falter. For years now, people have said EDEN is dying. For once, it may seem to be happening. Romania approved an MPP with Serbia, EDEN’s, and several other countries', traditional enemy. After that, they officially left EDEN in a decisive and clear vote of 26-9. With one of its strongest countries joining the dark side, EDEN’s future is left unclear, but one thing is for certain, it will no longer be the powerhouse it once was, and soon will likely no longer exist. With Romania joining TWO, it also seems that TWO will soon be at odds with CoT, igniting what could be World War 6.

With so many countries presently shifting their stances and weakening, and America being stable and strong, the world has readied itself for an inevitable conflict. While we are presently in a good spot, we aren’t in a great spot. Around this time last year, America wasn’t strong and stable, we were dominate. No one messed with us. We had full bonuses, we were one of the strongest countries in the game, to put it simply: we were the best. It’s time we return to that dominate stance. We have everything we need to accomplish this; strong and devoted allies, a stable and unified country, and world class military units. All we need is someone to lead us down the path towards dominance; we need someone with the experience, knowledge, and willingness to achieve such a feat. This term America, that person is me.



For those of you who don’t know me, I’ve been around for a while. I’ve been playing for 3, almost 4 years now. In this time, I’ve played in both the eUS, and eSA and have been in too many cabinets to count, and held a wide variety of positions.

Having such extensive experience is a huge advantage to a President, especially in the term we’ll be facing. With EDEN collapsing, and TWO seemingly preparing to attack CoT, huge opportunities and challenges present themselves. Being able to deal with a large variety of countries, a skill I have been proved I have during my time in the State Department, will be key to not only explore these opportunities, but ensure that they bear fruit. Perhaps EDEN will provide us with one last apple, for old times sake.



Cabinet Members

Without further ado, I’d like to introduce you to the team who will assist me in ensuring a return to greatness for our country.

Vice President


Molly Emma will be serving as my Vice President. There is so much one can say about her, and none of it would truly encompass how great she is. She’s one of the most experienced people in the game, is renowned as one of the greatest, most organized Chief of Staffs to have ever held the position, and has been involved in every aspect of cabinet from internal branches like Interior, external branches like NSC and State, all the way to the top in leadership positions like CoS and VP. No one can compare to her
Chief of Staff


My Chief of Staff this term will be Serendipitous. I’ve known Seren for a while now, served with him in various departments, and been a congress member alongside him many times. One thing that always astonishes me about Seren is his organization skills, and ability to lead, whether it be a discussion or people. Keeping a cabinet both organized and on track is a crucial part of a term. CPs who have failed to do this have simply failed as CPs. But, I’m more than confident that Seren will be able to do ensure the cabinet is running at an optimal performance level.

Secretary of State


The Secretary of State position is always an interesting spot. Israel Stevens once referred to one of his SoS’s as a rising all star, and I feel it describes the position quite well. Those who fill it tend to work hard, and often, and thus, prove their merit early. NewAzazel fills that role perfectly. He arrived into the State Department a few terms ago, and he tackled every task with vigor and enthusiasm. Under President Vanek, he has risen to be a great member of the Foreign Affairs team, and will serve me excellently this term as we deal with friends, allies, and new opportunities.

Secretary of Homeland Security


Kody5 is a relatively new person in my world. I saw him on IRC, and post on the forums, and eventually I saw him do work as Secretary of Homeland Security. It was in his tenure that I saw Kody shine. Thanks to him, and the hard work he’s done in conjunction with a wide variety, the ATO efforts have been successful, and under his leadership, will continue to be successful.


Secretary of Defense


I truly can’t put into words how phenominal of a job Cromstar has done in the position of Secretary of Defense. The USAF is not easy to manage; with low bonuses, lowered income, and a million other problems that all MUs have to deal with on a day-to-day basis, it is a task few people can handle. By few, I mean one; Cromstar has shown that he can do more than handle these struggles, he can achieve, accomplish, and thrive whilst facing these struggles.

Secretary of the Interior


Until recently, I didn’t know Othere. To be honest, he was below my radar. That was until the most recent term. He is the current Secretary of Interior, and through his creativity, hard work, and managerial skills, he has quickly made this department one of the most successful departments, and I know moving forward, he will continue to keep the department at such a high level.

Secretary of Education


I’ve spent many nights in my days Skyping with Mazzy Cat. In this time, I’ve experienced her kindness, energy, and bubbly personality first hand By injecting such traits into her work, she has helped numerous new players starting the game, and has educated both them, and more experienced players by creating articles aimed at both groups. There is no doubt in my mind that, so long as she is at the helm, this department will continue to be successful.

Secretary of Media


Paul Proteus was my first boss when I joined the state department. Needless to say, he made me do all the grunt work no one wanted to do. So, it’s only befitting he is my Secretary of Media so he can write ALL THE ARTICLES!!! Joking aside, finding a Secretary of Media is always a challenge, as few people who want to dedicate the time to it are quality writers. Paul doesn’t have this problem, however, Under his leadership, the White House Press Releases have been consistent, both in distribution, and quality level.
