[Swiss CP] Running The Race

So... anyhow I wish to take this opportunity to thank Alexandre Walen for doing a superb job in October. He did what he said he would do. I said if he could do this I would eat my words. :chomp: Consider them eaten. For some reason the apology was neglected on a government IGM so I have started this article off with the repeat.

I do have some complaints about the way things were handled and we are currently not working together. This is a shame because I really wanted his help if I am elected Swiss CP. Enough about the negative, this article is about the positive.




My Platform

I have one priority, to hold Swiss regions with out constant RW's for as long as possible. The constant win-lose-win-lose is not only discouraging it is damn costly and that for both us and Slovenia. I have been talking to some people in Slovenia. It is possible to have a dialog. I would want the position of CP so that the discussion can begin in earnest. It is possible to have a long lasting NAP and two of our original regions. I did not believe a lasting peace was possible but now I am hopeful.

Secondary priorities would be to develop a food/weapon give-a-way to help the new player. I would like the MoD to continue much as this has been done in the past. The retention of our noobs is vital for the growth of Switzerland. Also I am told there is a website for the education that is being finished now. I would expect MoE to take the lead here. I would not be overseeing these personally but would want good people on this, working together where possible.

Third priority would be CoT. What, when and how can we help our allies gain their regions back. Coordination and communication will be important. We may not be the biggest bear in the woods but that should not prevent us from working to make our alliance better. I was hoping Walen would be our spokesman, but if not I would look to someone with CoT experience along with integrated communication with the MoD. I would be keeping my ear to the wall to see how this goes.

Finally, I would say anyone who wants to work in Foreign Affairs will be greatly used and appreciated. I would ask for a MoFA that would step up and take charge. MoFA and Ambassadors can be a tricky job but also fun and rewarding.
