Hello,

I am Hunter4Life123 and I'm officially running for the Party President of the Swiss Liberal Party for July of 2013. In this article, I will discuss the other candidates, myself, and issues with the party that I will work to change.



Candidates

First of all, I am told there are two other candidates: remi.remi and jkli5, perhaps. remi.remi is a great candidate, active and ambitious. The only problem is that he may not have experience, but he can definitely work through it if he is elected. Everyone starts out at some point. 🙂 jkli5 is experienced and has done a great job before. Both candidates are great citizens and would be great choices for the SLP. I am fine with either of them being elected PP and I will support both if they are selected.



Myself

I live in the USA in real life but I am very loyal to eSwitzerland. I began my eLife here in January of 2012 and have been here ever since. I've grown to be an active member, fighting for what we need, voting for whom we need, and becoming a politician of some sort.

I have been multiple Ministers multiple times, including Minister of Information multiple times, Minister of Education multiple times, and Vice Minister of Finance once. I've also become a Congress member four times (more if we had had Congress more often) and done my part and more voting on laws and discussing important topics. On top of all this, I have been the PP of the SFP in the past, but I've stuck with the SLP for a long time. I'd estimate being PP of the SLP around five or six times, enabling me to meet the members and see the ups and downs of the party so that I may help it, it's members, and eSwitzerland.

Throughout this journey, I've made friends, made enemies, and gone through the thick and thin of eRepublik. I've made many important friends whom have helped me (quick shout out to my eRepublik parents Rican and Lotus Black and good friend Dan/naD Wilshire). I've made enemies whom I've debated and discussed. I've continued on and pushed through the hard times of eRepublik, such as being taken over by larger countries and dealing with multies and PTOers. But I've made it this far and can make it farther, only because of the help and support I get. 🙂



Changes to Be Made

Lastly, there are some things wrong with this party of things lacking of this party that need to change. I'd like to be the one to change these things to make the SLP better and its members happier, because that's what eRepublik is about - fun. 🙂

So here we go!

~Young Bloo😛 The SLP has always had lots of young members in it, but not many are active. I will work to get them interested in eRepublik and more involved in our country. This "change" is the main one which includes some below.

~Recruiting: Although we have many young members already, like I mentioned above, it's always better to have more in the party that can grow and develop. I'll work to contact young and new citizens to eRepublik that are looking for a place where they can fit in and get support. Also, I will start a program that we've had in the past in which the current members of the party recruit citizens to the party and are rewarded.

~Offering Help: Some young members are needing help fitting in and getting their eRepublik life going. I will help them know what's going on and get involved by offering supplies, friendly advice, introducing them to others, answering questions in depth, and more. They need to get in the game, and I'm here to help.

~Getting Up There: I want the SLP to be known as a strong and active party with good candidates for Congress and for CP. We are currently ranked the second party of eSwitzerland, only under the AIM (a very good and well respected party) and I hope we can to stay in this position, but continue to grow. By getting younger members active, we can climb up the political chain a bit more and show eSwitzerland that we have even more value than it looks like. 🙂

I've only shared a few of my ambitions and hopes for the SLP with you, but I hope you can see that I'm excited to change the SLP for the better.



In conclusion, I've had lots of experience with leadership before and I'd like to help others learn this like I have, by helping them and changing the SLP to better fit the needs of its people.
