3 | Week long competition

I have recently entered a squabble with a friend of mine, and as such, will be having a week-long competition in late September. Whoever gets the most points wins.
(2.5 per XXmil damage, 3 points per BH medal) (subject to change)

I'd like to open it up to all SHIELD members. Sign up forms will be provided. Wagers are welcome but not required. (I'm betting 200 Q7 weapons, he's betting 10 gold).

Prizes would be given for 1st,2nd, and 3rd place. Smaller prizes for 4-10.
Each Division will have its own rankings, so D2 fighers wont be competing with D1, D3, or D4 fighters.


It will take place in late September, if you are interested in participating, please comment below with "Interested" in your comment. If a division earns atleast 10 interested soldiers, it will be hosted, all players will be messaged, and sign up forms will be made available publicly.

4 | HAMMER Strength Training Update

Effective 7/10/14
Updated requirements to join/remain in the HAMMER training program.

To Apply:
1. You must be an ACTIVE Agent of SHIELD for a minimum of 14 days. *
2. You must be in a SHIELD uniform. (visit link above for full details)
3. You must work in a SHIELD commune. (visit link above for full details)
4. You must read ALL of the REQUIRED War College material. Reading more, is better.
5. You must pass the War College Exam with a score of 90% or higher. (visit link above for full details)
6. You must apply. (visit link above for full details)
7. You must interview with the HAMMER Director or an Assistant Director.

To Remain in HAMMER:
1. You must remain in a SHIELD uniform. (visit link above for full details)
2. You must continue to work in a SHIELD commune. (visit link above for full details)
3. You must attend Weekly Roll Call.**
4. You must complete ALL additional objectives before requesting additional gold assistance for training ground upgrades.
5. You must acknowledge and abide by the HAMMER Code of Conduct. (coming soon)
6. Acknowledge HAMMER Daily Orders for food and gold.

HAMMER soldiers will also have the opportunity to earn more gold by participating in activity/educational objectives set by the HAMMER program. HAMMER soldiers will be allowed to complete one objective each week. Each objective will earn the HAMMER soldier 1.5 gold.



5 | SHIELD members in Congress

Congress Applications will be begin around the 11th-12th and remain open until the 19th around 1800 PM so that the election committee (the PD and PP) can decide on the Fed delegation soon after. APPLICATIONS RECEIVED OUTSIDE OF THIS TIME FRAME WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. You can apply here. The requirements are:

1. Party Activity: You will need to be involved in the party in some capacity. This includes 30 days of party membership

2. Party Support: You will need to help the party with earning votes. This could mean PMs, articles, shouts, or general networking. More votes for us = more people in. You will also need to separate yourself from your position if you wish to openly rally against the party or its decisions. You need not resign from your position, but rather state that the views are personal and are not necessarily reflective of the party's views.

3. Personal Ethics: You will need to be in line with the Party's ethics, which includes honest voting practices (i.e. no bribery).

4. Personal Backgroun😛 You will need to pass an FBI Check to be eligible.

5. Congressional Activity: If you get elected, you will need to be active in Congress to maintain eligibility. Keeping involved in discussion and votes is the main form of activity.

6. Congressional Policy: If you get elected, you will need to follow all Congressional Policy especially in regards to IES to maintain eligibility.

We will announce around the 20th. Make sure you run in-game if selected.
