[Seoul Ilbo] June 2010 Congress Report [Updated]
Joseph Orair
First, I want to thank everyone who voted for me. Thanks!
I assume nothing like this will be published by anyone in the government so I will adopt the style used by the Osterreich Journal in Austria.
South Korea National Assembly June/July 2010
This month we succeeded in keeping those such as Carlos Bianchi out of the National assembly but failed to keep out his close associate Comrade Wilson from holding a position of power in South Korea. Also, Irish_Rebel_Reborn was elected, who immediately resigned and granted citizenship to Joey JoJo Shabbadoo.

To sum up…
190 votes were cast in this election making up 42.22% of the South Korean Electorate. In the May 2010 election, 99 votes were cast making up 28.7% of the eligible voting population. 91 more votes were cast in this election and there turnout increased by 13.52%.
The Communist Party won a majority in 4 regions, ending up with 12 seats out of 40 and getting 30 votes total. CP is the majority party.
The Korean Independence Party won a majority in 2 regions, ending up with 11 seats out of 40 and getting 54 votes total. KIP received the most votes in this election and is 2nd in the seat allocation.
PDNPK798 received 50 votes but only has 5 seats out of 40 in the National Assembly.
The Korean Patriots Party received 22 votes and has 6 seats out of 40 in the National Assembly.
The Federal Social Democrat Party 6 seats out of 40 in the National Assembly and received 11 votes.
In Order of Seat Percentage:
Communist Party - 30%
Korean Independence Party - 28%
Federal Social Democrat Party - 15%
PDNPK798 - 13%
Korean Patriots Party - 12%
In Order of Vote Percentage:
Korean Independence Party - 28%
PDNPK798 - 26%
Communist Party - 16%
Korean Patriots Party - 12%
Federal Social Democrat Party - 8%
The Communist Party received 16% of the vote and 30% of the seats; and the PDNPK798 received 26% of the vote and only 13% of the seats. Because this is NOT a proportional system these numbers are expected. The Korean Independence Party needs to organize its voters in such a way to maximize its potential in the next election, as the Communist Party did in this election. It was able to grab 30% of the seats with only 16% of the vote.
Best Performing Party of June 2010
Communist Party
Worst Performing Party of June 2010
Korean Patriots Party*
Top Vote Getter
Grease – 38 votes
*I had the FSDP as the worst performing party, but it was able to get 15% of the Congress with only 8% of the vote.
With the resignation of 4 Communist Party and 1 FSDP members the KIP is now the majority party in South Korea.

Make us proud Bobbi! 😃
Yes. The Leeheros is with us too. 🙂
You never will defeat the Third Socialist Internationale communism!
Whatever...we kept you out Carlos, we can keep Wilson and Lee out next time. 😃
Go ahead! Keep trying to defeat the communists in South Korea, fascists!
We have Communists, we just don't want Carlos or his associates in our country.
And no, I don't care if you are the REAL Internationale...blah blah blah

KIP needs a strategic voting....
I couldn't believe winning Carlos in the election. As we all know, he has his "very close associates". (Don't get me wrong, this innocent Carlos obviously has no multi-accounts...)
Interesting breakdown, Joseph.
Props to the Communist Party, but understand that we've been without a PP for three weeks. We've also had three resignations already, one even pushed the impeachment button before he left.
K.I.P. 07
great article, in this moment we have 5 congressman who resign
Making the KIP the majority party...😃.
