[SaM] Escalating The Resistance: Black Market Basics

Day 1,195, 04:02 Published in United Arab Emirates Saudi Arabia by abdullah australi

Black Market in erepublik is the exchange of goods through donations.

Basically if a resistance sympathizer is a weapon seller, they can set their price at say 7.5 AED per weapon, maybe even write this in their description, then a buyer will donate 7.5 AED to the seller, who will then donate the weapon to the buyer.

The same also applies to other consumables goods, like food and moving tickets

Sellers should offer reasonable prices, below average market rate, since market rate also includes the unjust taxes.

Some players below certain levels may be unable to use donate features, [SaM] advises them to not always go for the cheapest products, but select the trusted producers and support the outward resistance operators.

Another Black Market is that of Labour. Employers should offer their employees wage above the minimum as a donation of money or food if they want, this allows them to get more of their money, and prevents the usurpers getting that additional tax.

For example, player x normally earns 20 AED, with 25% tax they will get only 15 AED, and the usurper government gets 5AED. However if they use the black market payments, they will be taxed only on the minimum wage of 5, the usurpers only get 1.25, then player y donates the rest of the wage to player x, who will in total get 18.75.

Black market weapons, just as good as the rest, minus the usurper tax.

The disadvantages of the black market is that it can be slow, but [SaM] believes strongly that preventing the usurpers access to our money through taxes is better than any timely goods on any market.

Having said that, we will soon announce an irc room dedicated to networking the black market trade in eUAE. In the mean time #emirates on Rizon server will be the meet up point. More advanced Black Market techniques, particularly for company owners, can also be discussed in the above rooms.

[Sam] also encourages any black market producers to forward their names and prices to us, then we will include them in the classifieds section soon to be established below.

This is Sawt al Muqawamah, in the tax-free markets, on standby.
