[Royal Navy] Weekly Update - Day 2190

Day 2,190, 10:40 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by HebronGazelle

This week was a sad week for the eUK as we lost The Legion, the countries strongest and one of the best military units. We do have better news in the Royal Navy with 3 members winning special decorations, and our military unit continues to evolve. You can read all in this weekly update article from the Royal Navy.

Fighting For Freedom Across The Globe
This week saw the introduction of a new medal to eRepublik, the Freedom Fighter medal. The admins wanted to start this off in style, so offered decorations to the first 50 players of each country who got this medal. In Royal Navy we had 3 players who fought to help the occupied countries around the world and not only get the medal, but the decoration too! Here they are:

CheetahCurtis of Regiment 2
Neil Lewis of Regiment 6
suezo31 of Regiment 6

Sunday Strike - Week 7
Many previous big hitter such as Titus Van Skittles and Captan Britain did not record any damage for this weeks strike which gave other players the chance to push into the top 3(or just up the ranks). CheetahCurtis and Jorael return to the top 3 this week, while Neil Lewis hits an amazing amount of damage to secure a Battle Hero medal for the eUK. Here is this weeks top 3:
Neil Lewis - 52,674,373
CheetahCurtis - 9,962,504
Jorael - 9,440,640

Bad Carrot, Terry Stricter, LTDarklord, Butler013 and Tinman1 all managed to improve on their damage from last weeks strike. It great to see so many players hitting harder each week. We had a few new players at the Sunday Strike as well, so here is the rest of our hall of fame:
mick cain - 6,846,175
Fataliix - 4,718,634

Join The Team
Officers above me have informed me that the various Royal Navy teams will be starting up again, which will give you a great chance to expand your military career and help improve our already glorious military unit. I have not yet been told all the details but I believe all of these will be starting up again:

Recruitment Team - Will work alongside the current team to coordinate the recruitment of active players to the Royal Navy, as well as offering help to current Royal Navy members. This team focuses on recruitment and retention.
Supply Team - Will work alongside the Royal Navy Company Owners in the distribution of supplies, and run other social activities.
Media Team - Cooperate with the Admirals to release important information not only in regards to Royal Navy news, but also the eUK and wider afield.
Program Team - Cooperate with Admirals in an attempt to secure more funds, keep improving programs already in place and to implement new ones that would benefit our members.

We will keep you up-to-date with the news about these new teams and how you can get involved!

The Royal Navy is Evolving
The Royal Navy has been expanding over the past few weeks. You may have missed a few updates so here is what we have done to make the Royal Navy the best military unit in the eUK:

- Restarting of the Sunday Strike(free weapons and food) which is growing each week
- Titus Van Skittles became the second supplier after Geenge
- Introduction of the Royal Navy Health Service(more free food)
- Updated rewards scheme(10 Q6 or Q7 for ranking up)
- 2 Awards given to Royal Navy for high amounts of kills
- 4 Royal Navy teams are to restart

And what's better is we are still evolving. Have an idea? Let us know in the comments section below...
