Kein Geld für MPPs mit Italien und Irland

Ein gemeinsames Verteidigungsbündnis (MPP) mit unserem neuen Allianz-Partner Italien ist im Moment leider noch nicht möglich. Aufgrund leerer Staatskassen in Italien müsse der Abschluss des MPP ebenso noch warten wie ein neuer MPP unsererseits mit Irland, sagte CP Edelmann.

Demgegenüber hat Deutschland in den vergangenen Tagen MPPs mit Litauen und der Tuerkei unterzeichnet, um die Verteidigungsanstrengungen beider Länder zu unterstützen.

Botschafter gesucht

Unser neuer Botschafterkoordinator Lemmas hat ein Programm zur Reaktivierung der Botschafteraktivitäten gestartet. Wer sich fuer das Amt eines Botschafters interessiert, kann sich bei ihm melden oder das entsprechende Formular ausfüllen. Neu eingerichtet für alle

Venezuela: Deutliche Mehrheit für Aurora-Beitritt

Die Bevölkerung Venezuelas hat sich mit deutlicher Mehrheit für den Beitritt des Landes zu Aurora ausgesprochen. In einer Umfrage im venezolanischen Forum stimmten fast 75% der Spieler fuer und nur 15% gegen einen Beitritt. Die restlichen 10% entfielen auf Enhaltungen und ungültige Stimmen. Das Umfrage-Ergebnis soll nun zunächst im Forum diskutiert werden. Danach wird das Parlament darüber abstimmen, ob ein Aufnahmeantrag gestellt werden soll.


USA werden Baja wieder anmieten

Die USA haben wieder einmal die Region Baja von Mexiko angemietet. Der entsprechende Vertrag zwischen den beiden Staaten sieht vor, dass die USA monatlich 60.000cc an Mexiko zahlen, 40.000cc Miete für Baja und 20.000cc für die dort erhobenen Steuern. Zur Umsetzung des Abkommens haben die Niederlande einen Luftangriff auf Baja gestartet. Die USA werden hinterher die Hollaender angreifen und Baja in Besitz nehmen. Auf diese Weise gehen nicht zuviele MPPs der USA verloren.


Mexiko/Chile: Verstimmung um MPP mit Peru

Ein MPP zwischen Peru (Leto) und Mexiko (Aurora) hat zu erheblichen Misstimmungen zwischen unseren Verbündeten Mexiko und Chile geführt. Chiles MoFA Pianfar erklaerte, der MPP widerspreche dem Geist unserer Allianz.

Die mexikanische Regierung erklaerte demgegenüber, der MPP sei von Peru vorgeschlagen und entgegen dem Willen der Regierung vom mexikanischen Parlament ohne vorherige Diskussion akzeptiert worden.
Mexiko CP Armando CF entschuldigte sich offiziell für den Vorfall und sagte, man werde alles tun, dass dies in Zukunft nicht wieder vorkommen werde.


NAP Tuerkei - Armenien

Die Türkei und Armenien haben einen Nichtangriffspakt geschlossen. Das Abkommen regelt, das beide Seiten keine feindlichen Handlungen wie Kriegs- und NE-Erklärung oder Luftangriff unternehmen werden. Der NAP ist bis zum 8.Juli gültig und kann dann erneuert werden.

Common Hit der ProSirius-Länder

Die ProSirius Länder Schweiz, Bosnien-Herzegowina, Estland, Lettland, Litauen, Ukraine, Suedkorea, Venezuela, Zypern, Belgien und Slowakei haben dieser Tage einen Common Hit durchgeführt, um die Einsatzbereitschaft ihrer Streitkräfte zu testen.


Kriegsschauplätze

Westeuropa / Alpen

Frankreich/Spanien

In Frankreich stehen sowohl Argentinien als auch Polen auf der Lauer. Argentinien hat sich an der Kanalküste in der Region Upper Normandy festgesetzt und sich damit ein Sprungbrett fuer einen Angriff auf Großbritannien geschaffen. Alle anderen zuvor eroberten Regionen auf ihrem Durchmarsch von Spanien an den Kanal wurden wieder aufgegeben. Da Chile gleichzeitig in Frankreich Boden gut machen und vorher verlorene Gebiete wieder in Besitz nehmen konnte, ist
Upper Normandy aufgrund des Südamerika-Paktes vor einem Angriff vom Festland geschützt.

Polen hat sich unterdessen vom Rhein bis an die Pyrenaen vorgearbeit und wartet darauf, was die Argentinier unternehmen werden. Sollte die Südamerikaner im Sueden Britanniens landen, darf mit einem polnischen Angriff auf die argentinisch besetzten Regionen in Spanien gerechnet werden. Im Moment haben die Gauchos ihren NE noch mit Spanien belegt. Die Iberer konnten zwar einige Regionen in der vergangenen Woche mittels RWs befreien, verloren aber anschließend alle Gebiete wieder in der direkten Auseinandersetzung mit Argentinien.

Edit: Das argentinische Parlament hat unterdessen mit ueberwaeltigender Mehrheit Grossbritannien zum Natuerlichen Feind (NE) erklaert.

Schweiz/Italien

Rumänien hat inzwischen fast die ganze Schweiz einnehmen und auch Chile aus dem österreichischen Voralberg verdrängen koennen.

Der italienische Vormarsch gegen Slowenien ist nach der Eroberung von vier Regionen mittlerweile zum Stillstand gekommen und die Initiative ist auf Slowenien übergegangen, das nun Italien in Venetien angreift. Auch konnte Slowenien zwei Regionen durch Widerstandskriege wieder befreien.



Russland vs. Norwegen/Finnland

Russland hat seinen Krieg mit Finnland beendet und Norwegen angegriffen. Ohne auf größeren Widerstand zu treffen, gelang es Russland die Regionen Nord Norge und Trondelag einzunehmen und setzt seinen Vormarsch auf Ostlandet fort. Beide Staaten hatten zuvor ein Abkommen abgeschlossen, nach dem Norwegen 3 Regionen an Russland fuer 15.000cc pro Woche ausleihen wird.

Litauen vs. Schweden

Einen guten Einstand feierte auch Litauen im Kampf gegen Schweden. Die Balten konnten die Regionen Scania und Smaland erobern und dürften auch in Gotaland ihren Siegeszug fortsetzen.

Deutschland vs. Dänemark

Deutschland hat in der vergangenen Woche wieder einmal Dänemark eingenommen. Der Krieg war im Rahmen der Mission “Brazilian Sabotage” vereinbart worden, damit die Spieler unserer Union Punkte für die True Patriot Medaille sammeln können. Vor den Parlamentswahlen am 25.06. werden dann wieder einige dänische Regionen befreit werden.



Naher und Mittlerer Osten

Türkei vs Ungarn/Iran

In ihrem Zweifrontenkrieg gegen Ungarn und den Iran hat die Türkei in den vergangenen Tagen einige schwere Niederlagen einstecken müssen. Dem Iran gelang es mit Hilfe seiner Verbündeter aus Leto und Asteria, alle seine Ursprungsregionen zurück zu erobern. Dagegen schlug ein Angriff auf die türkische Region Eastern Anatolien fehl und die Initiative liegt wieder bei den Männern vom Bosporus.

Ungarn breitet sich weiter auf der arabischen Halbinsel aus und steht kurz davor, auch die letzte türkische Bastion, die saudische Region Northern Borders, einzunehmen.



Suedamerika/Ozeanien

In Südamerika haben Chile und Argentinien weite Teile ihrer Kolonien in den vergangenen Tagen aufgeben müssen.

Hart trifft Argentinien insbesondere der Verlust der bolivianischen Regionen Tarija und Santa Cruz. Die Gauchos haben damit ihre Verbindung zu den wichtigen Bonus-Regionen Nordbrasilien und Northern Low Amazon (Peru) verloren und können diese auch nicht mehr so einfach herstellen, da sie Bolivien wegen des Südamerika-Paktes nicht direkt angreifen können. Bolivien duerfte dies wohl ausnutzen, um von Argentinien entsprechende Mietzahlungen zu fordern.

Leichter dürfte es dagegen Chile fallen, seine Kolonien zurückzubekommen. Sowohl in Peru und Bolivien als auch in Australien und Neuseeland wurde dem dortigen Widerstand aufgrund hoher Determination keine Gegenwehr geleistet und mit einer baldigen Rueckeroberung der verlorenen Regionen darf gerechnet werden. Mit Neuseeland besteht ein NAP, der jetzt verlängert worden ist und Chile eine Region zuspricht. Und auch mit Bolivien dürfte sich Chile über die Rückgabe der Region Pando einigen.

Im pazifischen Krieg zwischen Kolumbien und Indonesien ist es unserem asiatischen Bündnispartner gelungen, Kolumbien aus den Philippinen zu vertreiben und hat zum Angriff auf die kolumbianische Region Pacifica angesetzt.

Edit: Chile und Bolivien haben inzwischen ein neues Abkommen ueber die Region Pando unterzeichnet.



Kurznachrichten
- Das brasilianische Parlament hat einen Antrag das neue erep-Land Nigeria anzugreifen, rundweg abgelehnt.
- Asterias Sub-Allianz Leto hat wieder zur Rekrutierung fuer ihre virtuelle Militaereinheit Leto Mobile Army (LMA) aufgerufen. Spieler, die LMA angehoeren, verbleiben in ihren traditionellen MUs, erhalten aber ihre Kampfauftraege ueber PMs.
- Die beiden neuen Länder Georgien und Armenien haben einen Trainingskrieg vereinbart. Wie das Außenministerium von Georgien mitteilte, wird Georgien die Initiative übernehmen. Es sollen jedoch keine Regionen erobert werden. Der Angreifer solle jeweils die Schlacht verlieren, hieß es.
- Cuba hat seine beiden ersten MPPs mit Argentinien und Chile abgeschlossen.
- Der Serbe TT Lighter ist zum neuen Generalsekretär von Asteria ernannt worden.

Empty treasuries: MPPs with Italy and Ireland have to wait

Unfortunately, a Mutual Protection Pact (MPP) with our new alliance partner Italy isn't possible at the moment yet. Due to empty treasuries in Italy the conclusion of the MPP must still wait just as a new one for our part with Ireland, CP Edelmann said.

Germany has on the other hand signed MPPs with Lithuania and Turkey within the last days to support the defense efforts of both countries.

Ambassador wanted

Our minister of ambassadorial affairs Lemmas has started a new programm to reactivate the acitivities of our ambassadors. Everybody who is interested in taking over an office as ambassador should pm him our fill out this form. Also an IRC chanel was set up for all ambassadors. (#ger.embassy)


Venezuela: Big majority wants to join Aurora

A clear majority of the population of Venezuela has declared itself in favor of the country´s joining of Aurora. In a survey in the Venezuelan forum almost 75% of the players voted for and only 15% against a joining. The remaining 10% were allotted to abstentions and invalid votes. The survey result shall be discussed first in the forum. After that there will be a vote in the parliament about this, whether an application for membership shall be made or not.


US rents Baja again

The USA have rented once again the region Baja of Mexico. The corresponding contract between the two states provides that the USA pay 60,000 cc to Mexico every month, 40,000 cc rent for Baja and 20,000 cc for the taxes imposed there. To implement the treaty Holland has startet an airstrike on Baja. Afterwards the US will attack Holland and take over Baja. Thus the US won´t loose to many MPPs.


Mexiko/Chile: Discord because of MPP with Peru

A MPP between Peru (Leto) and Mexico (Aurora) has led to considerable discord between our allies Mexico and Chile. Chile's MoFA Pianfar said, the MPP contradicts the spirit of our alliance.

The Mexican government explained on the other hand, the MPP has been suggested by Peru and was accepted by the Mexican parliament contrary to the will of the government without a previous discussion. Mexico´s CP ArmandoCF apologized officially for the occurrence and said one would do everything that, in the future, this won't happen again.


NAP Turkey - Armenia

Turkey and Armenia have entered into a non-aggression pact. The agreement regulates, that the two sides won't engage in any hostile actions to each other like declaration of war or natural enemy or air raid. The NAP is valid until July 8th and then can be renewed.


Serbia: President impeached

The ProSirius countries Switzerland, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, South Korea, Venezuela, Cyprus, Belgium and Slovakia have carried out a common hit, to test the readiness for use of their armed forces.

Western Europe

France/Spain

Both Argentina and Poland are in France on wait. Argentina has settled at the channel coast in the region Upper Normandy and has created with that a springboard for an attack on Great Britain.. All other regions conquered before on the marching through from Spain to the channel were given up again. Since Chile did also quite well in France and took back before lost areas into possession again at the same time, Upper Normandy is due to the South America pact protected from an attack by the mainland.

In the meantime Poland has advanced to the Pyrenaen coming from the Rhine and is waiting for what the Argentines will do. If the South Americans should land in the south of Britannia, you may bet on a Polish attack on the Argentine occupied regions in Spain. The Gauchos have their NE still covered with Spain at the moment. In the last week the Iberians could free some regions by means of RWs, then, however, lost all areas in the direct war with Argentina again.

Edit: In the meantime the Argentine Parliament has declared Great Britain as Natural Enemy (NE).

Switzerland/Italy

Romania has been able to take almost all of Switzerland by now and also has driven out Chile from the Austrian Voralberg.

The Italian advance against Slovenia has been interrupted after the conquest of four regions and the initiative has changed to Slovenia which attacks Italy in Venetien now. Slovenia also could free two regions by resistance wars again.



Northern Europe

Russia vs. Norway/Finland

Russia has ended its war with Finland and attacked Norway. Without meeting greater resistance, Russia managed to take the regions North Norge and Trondelag and it is continuing its advance on Ostlandet. Both states had made an agreement before according to which Norway will lend 3 regions to Russia for 15,000 cc per week.

Lithuania vs. Sweden

Lithuania also celebrated a good start in the fight against Sweden. The Balts could conquer the regions Scania and Smaland and might continue her triumphal march also in Gotaland.

Germany vs. Denmark

Germany has wiped Denmark last week once again. The war was arranged in the context of the mission “Brazilian sabotage”, so that the players of our Union would be able to collect some points for the true patriot medal. Before the parliamentary elections on June 25th some Danish regions then will be freed again.



Near and Middle East

Turkey vs. Hungary/Iran

In the two front war against Hungary and Iran Turkey had to suffer some serious defeats within the last days. Iran managed with the help of its allies from Leto and Asteria to conquer back all its cores. On the other hand, an attack on the Turkish region Eastern Anatolia failed and the initiative went over to the men of the Bosporus again.

Hungary is further extending its sphere of influence on the Arabian peninsula and could take over also the last Turkish bastion, the Saudi Arabian region Northern Borders.



South America/Oceania

Chile and Argentina had to give up large parts of their colonies in South America within the last days.

Particularly the loss of the Bolivian regions Tarija and Santa Cruz hits hard Argentina. t. The Gauchos have lost with that their connections to the important bonus regions North of Brazil and Northern Low Amazon (Peru). They won´t get them back so easily because they cannot attack Bolivia directly because of the South America pact. Bolivia might make use well of it to demand appropriate payments for the rent of the two regions to Argentina.

On the other hand, Chile should get back its colonies more easily. Both in Peru and Bolivia and also in Australia and New Zealand no resistance was made against the opening of RWs there due to a high determination. You can count with and an early reconquest of the lost regions. With New Zealand there is a NAP which has been prolonged now and awards a region to Chile. And Chile also might reach an agreement with Bolivia on the return of the region Pando.

In the pacific war between Colombia and Indonesia our Asian ally has managed to expel Colombia from the Philippines and has set for the attack on the Colombian region Pacifica.

Edit: Chile and Bolivia already have signed a new agreement regarding the rent of the region Pando by Chile.


News in Brief

- The Brazilian parliament has rejected flatly a request to attack the new erep country Nigeria.
- Asteria's sub-alliance Leto has called again for the recruitment upon its virtual military unit Leto Mobile Army (LMA). Players which belong to LMA remain in their traditional MUs, however, receive combat orders over PMs.
- The two new countries Georgia and Armenia have agreed on a training war. As the State Department of Georgia informed, Georgia will take over the initiative. No regions shall be conquered, however. It was said the attacker shall respectively lose the battle.
- Cuba has signed its first two MPPs with Argentina and Chile.
- The Serb TT Lighter is the new Secretary General of Asteria.
