The eUSA is currently in a time of turmoil. Our domestic issues - disUnity, PTO and a tanking economy - are almost as bad as foreign concerns; diminishing influence on the battlefield, a floundering alliance and a lopsided bipolar alliance structure. As we have in the past, eAmericans will pull up their boot straps and keep on keeping on, but this is much easier to do when led by the right person. We need an intelligent diplomat, versed in intra- and international affairs.

We need Paul. He’s a bright guy, who is very easy to get along with. He’s on his shit, and strives for the best. He’s chosen a crack team, with whom he’ll work on the issues discussed below. Every position was thoughtfully chosen to suit the needs of each department. When asked what he sees as the major issues facing the eUS, this is what Paul responded with. Expect progress on each of these areas, as that is what Paul does: he is constantly progressing. Get on board America, the Progress Train is leaving the station.



Building a Better Working Relationship Between the Government and US-AIM



When US-AIM was initially formed in April of 2013, the government shit bricks. The folks in charge saw it as a direct challenge to their legitimacy. In reality, US-AIM is just another private institution. Do they push an agenda? Sure, like any good organization would. Let's face it - US-AIM is strong, organized, and here to stay. In order to ensure that we can maintain old friendships and forge new ones, the Government needs to find ways to better funnel eUSA damage. Meanwhile US-AIM has a vested interest in ensuring a healthy and vibrant eUSA on the world stage. We're at a crossroads currently. The Government and US-AIM both have the same options; coordinate together or alienate each other.

By choosing DMV3 as Chairman of the National Security Council, Paul Proteus is taking a huge step to facilitate closer coordination between the Government and US-AIM. Is DMV3's appointment a cure-all? US-AIM maintains that the involved Military Units are a loose confederation, and each member has their own prerogatives. Still, this is the boldest move made by an Administration to court the damage US-AIM doles out everyday. This is exactly the bold decision making that Paul Proteus does not shy from.



Reforming and Strengthening USAF



The eUS Armed Forces is a pivotal damage dealer. Moreover, they are damage dealers directly controlled (theoretically) by the Country President. In order for the eUS to keep promises of damage to allies, and to best defend our nation’s interest, a strong publically owned Armed Forces is quite necessary. Yet, as of late, there has been some concern over the wellbeing of the eUSAF. Commanders need a fire lit under their butts, they need incentive to compete with private military enterprises; in recruitment, in damage dealing and in public awareness.

Paul is not afraid of making tough choices, as described above. This is not to say that he will blindly and deafly order the Commanders of the eUSAF around. Communication needs to be opened, if a CO of an eUSAF MU is seen as dropping the ball or a policy or procedures need changing, Paul is capable of an honest conversation - with the best interests of the eUSAF and eUSA-at-large at heart.



Maintaining and Expanding our International Relationships



Circle of Trust is easily outgunned by TWO. It is imperative to push our Alliance leaders and fellow member-nations of CoT to increase organization and coordination of damage and tactical maneuvers. We’re the underdogs - the impetus is on us to defend. This is a role the eUS has played in the past. Once again, our diplomatic corps must completely commit to strengthening current friendships, while seeking new friends to be made.

Circle of Trust needs to get its shit together, and voices like Derphoof will aid in this effort. We are committed to toughing it out with CoT, as we are no longer the cut-and-run nation of yesterday. However, the simple fact is: CoT needs more T, and another C: Cooperation.



Uniting the eUS Political Parties to Continue in the Fight Against the PTO



There is no doubt in my mind that in the coming month we will see further advancement against the insurgent PTO. JoshFrost, Paul’s choice for Chief of Staff and kody5 will be manning the good ship ATO once again to attempt, once again, to thwart the best efforts of the Serbs and Ajay to take our country from us. They have changed their argument as of late. They are claiming legitimacy because they are simply using game mechanics to their advantage. They forget the several times they’ve unlawfully used game mechanics to their advantage, and were reprimanded by the Admins.

Paul is the man to Unite the varying political factions in the eUS. He is liked by all, and conveys a desire to work with him. He’s a communicator of a level unseen in some months, who will convince the unconvinced to join our side and help beat back the PTO.



Reconstructing our War Torn Nation



Yes, being wiped sucks. But it was relatively unavoidable. Tenshibo might be faulted for many things, but when you have 6 enemy nations, with a collective firepower greater than the sum of our’s and our allies, getting wiped (or nearly so) was inevitable. That being said, we learned many things from this invasion. We need to continue to drive wedges in TWO, to end their chokehold on international affairs. We need to improve communication within the eUS and between our allies. We need to present a united front to the eAmerican populace to reduce confusion and better direct two-clicking damage. Now we know, and knowing is half the battle. Paul has some of the finest military minds at his disposal, we might not get out entire country back by this time next month, but keeping eAmerica off the map for any substantial period of time is next to impossible, given our large number of provinces. Keep on keeping on.

For these reasons, Paul is the only choice for President come the 5th. Give him your vote and begin to restore eAmerica.
