"Unity" Results

For those who've read the latest whpr you may have seen that, through the unity process, the Top 4 Parties and those 6th Parties which participated have elected to support me for the Presidency of the eUnited States. First, I'd like to thank the parties and their members for the show of support, now I'd like to move on with this article, regardless of how the Unity election process works, until the 5th, I'm still campaigning.

Regarding this, several people have noticed that "unity" elections this month had a very low turnout. This isn't surprising, nor as some people would have you believe, indicative of an elite cabal. Rather it's the result of a highly non-competetive election with few candidates appearing on each party's ballot. Still, it's something that needs to be improved, the new form of unity, while a step forward, needs to be implemented better. I'm not going to say much, as Unity measures will always be a Party prerogative, but I intend to oversee vast improvement in the implementation, until we hopefully get to the point where it's no longer necessary.

So, now that that's out of the way, let's move on to what I was really came here to say 😁

Oh, and one more thing, I'd recommend reading my running mate Othere's article, it's excellent and a sign to come of the quality of my administration.


Cooperation and Communication


Exciting right?

America is a rainbow. Which, normally, sounds like a good thing, but not so much when it means Serbia and pals have set up shop in our eCountry. Driving them out will be a challenge, but before we can even start on that we need to do something much simpler. We must improve the communication and cooperation between all parts of our country. Earlier this month we saw a clash between the government's NSC and the group AIM in the form of AlexJ's article, accusing AIM of working against the government while AIM maintains they set prios and followed the strategy of the government. I have not been a part of their exchanges this past month, logs I have been shown favor the latter train of thought but it truly is unimportant. It is the attitude of separation and alienation between a large group of American citizens and their government that is the problem, and that is what I aim to heal during my term. Our wipe may have been due to overwhelming force, however, we will never recover if our country isn't unified. Before we can speak of controlling our own 50 states and more we must first get to the point where we can fight for them together. I don't see a better time to talk about this than the 4th 😁 Seems fitting. As many of you noticed, I have DMV listed as my NSC chair in my cabinet article. This is for a few reasons, one is his demonstrable ability, which truthfully is primary, but another is legitimizing the role of the group which he is a part of in government. There is no separation, we don't work for different entities, we play for the same country, the eUS, that much is clear. And I look forward to working with him, in all aspects of NSC, improving America's strategy and communication. Alone that won't be enough, and those of you who know me will vouch, and those who don't will have to take my word for this, but during my term it will be a priority to coordinate our strategy and keep everyone, including the public, aware of what their government is doing for them, what the government's strategy is, and where we want them to be fighting.


Murrica and stuff 😁

Another issue that will define the coming month is the handling of USAF. That too has garnered controversy this past month, and it will be a focus of mine this coming month. I'm not naive enough to believe there is an easy fix that I can write about and force under the guise of progress. The most I can say is that I have the utmost confidence in my Secretary of War pick, Deificus, and that from our preliminary conversations we've had, I believe that this next month will be one in which the eUS' fighting forces is reorganized and made to be as efficient and effective as we've come to expect.

And the Media

There's another aspect of communication that you've come to expect and which I believe could use some improvement. That between the government and her citizens, that emanating from the Presidents paper and the White House Press Release. I've been Secretary of Media a few times, and believe me I understand the importance. My Secretary of Media will be responsible for at least 2 if not 3 White House Press reports a week, that's a promise. But I understand it's not just a matter of quantity, it's a matter of transparency. This communication functions best, as it did under Vanek, when the President's paper is always in use, keeping the country up to speed with what the President is doing for America. That's something I admired and definitely will do my best to emulate. As President, Goodbye Blue Monday will be constantly publishing, a new article every few days. And every week on eNPR you'll see me, answering questions and discussing what I'm doing. Point is, you'll see me; people often get the false impression the executive isn't working because of how little of their work is out there, in the top 5 or elsewhere; this will not be the case.


It's true

America Abroad

If nothing else, this next month will be interesting, and that applies to our foreign situation as well. Our countries wipe has as much to do with TWO's strength as it does with CoT's lack of coordination and success. I'm not saying that CoT is the wrong fit for America, I'm saying that CoT needs to get their shit together. SCs need to be active, RWs need to be coordinated, CoT needs to learn, once again, to work together, or else this is hopeless. I've talked to a few members of the alliance, a few country Presidents, and I've seen that this alliance has a lot of potential, and now I look forward to seeing it in action. It's easy to forget, but America is far from alone. As Tenshibo's last article proved, Mexico is there for us, even Canada has been. CUB, too, shows that, if anything, we have friends, willing to aid us in ATO and on the battlefield. The war with TWO though proves one thing, we depend on these allies, and when we all work together (see, the beginning of Naz's term as CoT MC) we succeed despite the odds, and when that coordination falls apart we fail. It would be a mistake to take from this, as some have, that big alliances are doomed. Or that CoT has forsaken us. We have friends, and when we work together, we succeed, and this war is far from over.

So, tomorrow

On the 5th, when you're voting for President, vote for me. I won't lie, we've had a tough month, and we're in for another, but I wouldn't be running if I didn't think we had it in us to recover and achieve great things. The night is always darkest just before the dawn, or something like that. Let's show the eWorld what we're capable of~
