Greetings Everyone!
It has been nine days since my last update on our country. The reason why I haven't written anything for the past nine days is because of its conflict with my real life schedule. Anyways, I could say that our people have achieved many things for the past few days. In this article, we will have a recap of the events that happened.
Freedom of Mindanao
Last Tuesday, we freed Mindanao in a resistance war. We won the battle because of a two-month effort in draining the Pakistani Shield. We would like to thank Malaysia and Serbia for their cooperation with us. As I write this article, Malaysia is currently having a resistance war to release their region.
Pakistan-Philippines NAP

We recently signed an NAP with Pakistan. The decision was made for us to finally have a region, and ultimately a congress. We launched a war two days ago and we won. Here is a summary of the pact signed by our countries:
1. The Philippines will rent a region from Pakistan for 10,000cc a week.
2. The Philippines cannot participate in any war against Pakistan and vice versa.
3. Indonesian government approves, thus we won't be attacked. =
First Asian Song Festival Results
The voting for the winner ended days ago and we got 11th place out of 14 competitors. You can say that it is really low, but the fact is that we really are outnumbered. They used their own citizens to vote for their own country. It was almost a contest on who had the biggest population. But who am I to judge it? No hard feelings on our part, it's still better than last place.
😛We got 50cc 50 Q5 Food and 100 Q1 Food from the contest, which will be donated to the country accounts.
Empires and Determination
Earlier today, there was a new Empires and Determination feature. Empires was a new feature giving acknowledgement to the Plato dynasties. There was also another feature, the Determination which gives long-time oppressed countries a chance to free their territories. Thank God Plato already did something for the small countries here in eRepublik. It has been so long since we wanted an update that would help the poor become less poorer.
Explanation for the Lost Money
For the past couple of weeks, I couldn't give you the answer for the money lost. BaZ already explained to me through a third party conversation. In the conversation, BaZ told me that the money was used for combat orders, supplies for mercenaries. He did what is best for us in my opinion. Besides our help from Malaysia and Serbia, what would you think could have drained the Pakistani shield? What could possibly be the reason behind our freed region? If the answer is to broad, please leave a comment below to discuss it.

Wait are you telling us we are renting our own region from Paki ?!
It's good to have activity from the government, informing the country's situation. And better yet we are free to organize here will be well to continue in this way and that does not cost so much...$$$
I disproved of renting our own region honestly. But that is better than not having a region.
BTW.... there's a RW in Palawan. And the agreement said that Philippines will not participate in any RW in the 3rd sentence of the pact. So are we now breaking the agreement ??

What will happen now if we get all our regions back? Their defs are down and it will not affect us now. So practically, the pact between the two countries are over. After we get Luzon, Pakistan will be back to their original borders (as they have won several of their original regions too). For Pakistan to retaliate, they will need to cross India (occupied by Albania and Serbia), and the Malay peninsula (occupied by Thailand). They can't touch us now.
The new threat will come from China, Taiwan, and Indonesia.
Let's just hope that they won't wipe us from the map until the 25th. 😉
We just freed our regions so if China attacked, we'll still have some determination damage multiplier bonus . But it's a 2000(active & inactive) against 100(active). Might I suggest that we ally with other SMALL nations that may think China and Republic of China(Taiwan) as a threat. I would like to suggest Japan and South Korea. Small we all may be but but who will agree to aid us against China and Taiwan other than those who already have grievances with them? If possible, we could try allying with other strong country though I think that will be almost impossible. Of course ePresident @Boy Pick Up, this is are all just suggestions,nothing else.
