Al Raposas first State of the Republic Address
Filipinos and foreigners alike, greetings.
After the closure of the elections, I went to my room to pray for the results to turn around to my favor, even if I fully know that at the single moment before the closure of the elections, I was behind ten percentage points. I prayed for this nation's safety under a new administration... I just leaped with joy and thanked the most gracious God that it was I who will lead the country as her 51st Country President!
Now, I have one letter for you, R.
After the miraculous elections last July 5 (Day 2054), it is I, Al Raposas, who won for Country President. Foreign affairs of many countries, including our NaN allies, congratulated and gave me their government list. I therefore open my Cabinet to the citizens. However, I gave the Ministry of Finance to Liana Paldrov because I needed a person I can contact even offline in this position. Our financial standing is delicate. Still, the other positions are open. You can send me a message about your ministry of interest in the next 24 hours. I will then release my official cabinet roster.

It is up to the sub-ministries in Foreign Affairs how they will manage their ambassadors. Each minister (excluding vice ministers) will be given 250 PHP salary every week once they submit to me a summarized report of their progress in the government set goals. I ordained vice ministers to increase citizen participation in the government. This will make our people feel they are always part of the process to progress.
I now welcome you to the Age of R! The first R is restructuring of the government offices.
The second R will be reconstruction.
After updating the Ministry of Finance, our finances stood at around 15,000 PHP. The minister and I agreed to set the financial standing of the country to at least 20,000 PHP by the end of my term, after including all the expenses. Also, the supply program of which I revived when I was Minister of Defense shall be put into regular basis once more.
Concerning military affairs, I plan to rebuild and expand the armed forces under government control. A single military unit which consisted of Div 1 to 4 had been a proposal since time immemorial, but never applied. I will see that some progress be done in this sector soon.
Soon, if the national finances can handle it, needy citizens can now avail loans from the government to buy mines or farms.
The third R will be restoration.
Our core regions had been under occupation for months, and the past administration had done virtually nothing to remedy this problem. No regions meant no finances and jobs. I am bent to restore some, if not all of the core regions for the first time for far too long. Jobs will be restored, and the market patronized once more.

This struck me, for real. So, Filipinos, the Age of R has now come. The Filipino people can begin hoping again for a better Philippines. But is hoping enough? We must also work. I therefore appeal to you, my people, to cooperate with me towards progress! Thank you and good day.

I have a question about the previous MoFA it had a roster of ambassadors representing in a country does that no longer apply?, i was an ambassador of egypt... And "I would like to be Minister of Culture and Arts"!. 😃
The roster of ambassadors in the previous administration only applied to NaN members. We have no ambassadors in other countries. That scheme I did not abolish. I just wanted to add ambassadorship to other countries outside NaN

I am happy that our support brought you in position! I am happy that you offer a plan to make progress for the ePhilippines.
As a the new pack-leader of our landless country I would like to see a position created or a person allocated, who will be responsible to guide/mentor the newbies here in ePinas.
When I entered eRepublic, what I noticed was how little communication, help and conversations there are and especially with newbies. The newbies are the potential soldiers on the battlefield, they are the new managers who will boost the economy. But without proper guidance to prevent them from wasting Pesos, Gold and motivation to keep busy here on eRepublic.
With help they will become mature and valid citizens much easier and by doing so, they will become warriors for our eCountry. Daily new hatch-lings come to populate these eLands and it would be foolish not to nurture, train and guide them in the days to come.
Al Raposas you talk the talk, now let's all help you walk the walk. I am excited with your program, please do keep us updated on progress and even on set-backs. Transparency makes things more bearable and more motivating than secrecy.

I would want to help in educating the newbies. Although, I think the biggest problem is most of the newbies login once, then don't return. So, we don't even have a chance to try and help them. The newbies other than this are mostly multis. Only a few actually play the game, and I usually make it a point to add them as friends and answer their questions.
Before, in the eUniversity of ePhilippines, I was conducting a course to help the newbies grow, but only less than 10 joined, and no one wasn't able to finish it (yet).
I understand ... but that's why it's a job right ...
when you do a job, you accept the good and the ugly part of it.
That's why I think ... there should be some compensation. The only right thing to do ... is to try. Be the shepherd.
I miss interactivity ... there is something very stale and dormant about eRepublik. It's like you're watching grass grow (apart from the fighting).
I am just suggesting and trying to tell you guys how my first steps were like. I entered with a few friends, but they lost interest, becoz nobody really replied to their messages. Maybe we choose the wrong military unit and the wrong political party, but it was nowhere near exciting at all.
I kept on looking and found this party, ppl were more active. Nowhere near exciting (YET), but at least you guys post stuff.
