All Good Things... [Star Trek reference, last TV episode of Picard and the TNG series where Picard look into his past, present and future]

Rousseau wrote the Confession in which he reflected his life story based on his interpretation of this life. While some of you might argue the facts or argue their interpretation etc. This is mine self interpretation of my elife so far and my feelings at that time as well as my feeling now looking back at the days of old. I hope you will know me a little bit better and to be "more transparent."

My eLife (Summary)

What a journey... what a journey indeed. At times I am still at a state of disbelief in the position I am in. I was born in the eUS on day 149. I two clicked for a year and while I was in the AAP, I was not really active. It was not until last May with the 3rd Swedish/Polish war of aggression that I became more active or I would still be a 2 clicker or eDead.

At that time I read that Germany needed to defend Schleswig-Holstein against the Swedes. I moved there to defend Germany only to be defeated by the hoards of Swedish troops. I moved to Northern Ireland after that battle since all foreign troops was ordered there and to use the Q5 hospital against the Swedes and Poles. There I met Mr. Woldy, Iain Keers, Malta 1990, Catterick, Lord von Cromwell, George Norfolk, JvB and many many more TUP/ UKers. It was many of these people especially TUP that really energized me in which I entered into a stage of article writing. I wrote many articles promoting the German cause. It was during this time, I became an eGerman.

My writing caught the attention of many eUKers who by the days were deeper and deeper in rage with their government who are either doing nothing or is acting against Germany. [Note: I believe Germany was a part of ATLANTIS and what US, UK and many other nations who at that time claimed they acted on the grounds of neutrality is wrong. To me their action is just inaction for if neutrality favors one side (Sweden and Poland) over Germany, it is not neutrality but just inaction. Therefore US, UK at that time, and ATLATNIS as a whole minus Canada failed in their responsibly to defend Germany their ally. Those who used the "trail period" argument is just dumb and any person with basic logic and proper ethics will know that it is BS. End note] While my articles are having an effect in the UK, it is also having a great effect in Germany itself. Many Germans read my articles like MortenLond who became a real good friend of mine. We joke around and we said we are brothers from different mothers. This is the same time I met Gobba and now the late Bush Da Bunny.

I lost myself with eGermany, eGermany must be free. I was hot headed and my articles were getting more and more aggressive and to a point I even attacked the UK government in my articles when at the time Hassan apologized to the Poles for not sending their Paras (UK versions of the EK's) to Berlin to fight against the PEACE liberation. My article attacked the Kumnaa administration and it evoke great outrage in eUK society to a point that their minister GF wrote a long and huge article to explain their decision etc to calm the people down.

With PEACE's liberation a great success, with Bush Da Bunny's invitation, I went to Berlin and I truly became eGerman. I was venturing into new grounds. At that time, last June and July, Germany was easier for non-native Germans to read the press and forums etc. While it was definitely out of my comfort-zone at first, I adopted. I want to be in politics and with Gobba's blessing I decided to run for congress in Mecklenburg. With the Polish PTO in July, they stole my seat. What seems defeat actually launched me into politics to the point where I am today.

eGermany is the true land of opportunities. My motive is to serve Germany to the best of my ability. At that time, a nation was invaded 3 times, conquered 3 times and liberated 3 times, each time the eGerman peoples were not defeatist or broken. Germany is the true Phoenix that you punch stab, shoot, kick in the groin etc, but will still comeback with greater determination and stronger unity and resolve. I want to be a part of this, so I looked for ways so I can be in this great community. In the eGerman forum, I saw an ad from Elisa Vorimberg for the need for ambassadors. So I signed up for eUK, since I know UK really well. By August, the Polish PTO failed in stealing the amount of Dems they want and they abandoned ship. I candidate in Berlin and won congress. My ambassadorship work was well liked and when TGE was elected as president, I was promoted to the post of Vice MoFA. August was a good month for me I guess. It was also August that Gobba stepped down from party president of OMG. With his blessing I ran and won that position. Konrad Neumann, a nobody who a few months ago was nobody and a political noob from a different country became a congressman, ambassador, Vice MoFA, and the PP of the largest political party in Germany. eGermany is truly the land of opportunities, land of gold and honey. eGermany where dreams come true.

I also met Alex Drex at August. He is one of the coolest friends I have on erep. Friends make this game worth playing and he is definitely one of them. I believe he is also experiencing that eGermany as a land of opportunities. An outsider at first, now Alex is one of eGermany's most valuable gems.

By September I was also the ambassador to the UNL. There I made friends with friends like Frerk and Trinc. They are really great friends and I consider them great erep friends. Frerk was the first UNLer that greeted me on the UNL IRC while I met Trinc in eUK since he was an ambassador. UNL is one of the most friendly and beautiful nation in eRep. Their union between the Dutch and the Belgians are something really special. I really love the UNL and in September, and even now, I spend a lot of time on #eUNL more than most other channel on my free time. With that said I am really angry to a point of my blood boiling when The Group, and Seal Team 6 and other annoying outsiders destroy something so beautiful as the bonds of the UNL. The Group and Seal TEAM 6.. you suck and ____Insert what ever profanity you want here______.

During the same time, TGE, Woldy and I worked on one the Frankfurt Treaty. It was a dream come true for me. eUK was the first place that felt like a home to me. TUP welcomed me even though I was an outsider. Germany is now my home and I am of eGermany now. 2 nations which I love with people who I love are signing a treaty of brotherhood and comradeship, pinch me I must be dreaming.

I do not remember but it is either October or November I met Herrn Sterling who is a great friends that I really do care about. Herrn Sterling was an eUS ambassador but despite of game alliance etc, we became best of friends. To me, eRep without them, Morten, and many others I consider my real good friends, there is no point for me to continue.

With TGE's second term over, I wanted to run for president as early as November. I remember AnsisX really wanted me to run. However, I promised Donnie Bronco that OMG and myself would support him in October and he ran and won the presidency. I was also promoted to the position of MoFA since Myrilla became the MoD. In that time, I helped Donnie with the creation of Phoenix.

To my huge displeasure, the ePoles around the Christmas time period launched another war against Germany. During this time all I think was the events of May. Day by day we lost more and more regions. The ePolish discourse was getting more and more radical with the 14.88 incident. I know that trolling would be a challenge for the next president. Why cannot we play the game without racism. I was pissed.

Donnie only ran for 2 terms and I took the helm on January 5th. Captain Picard controls the bridge. My first 4 days was the NCC 1701 D (Star Trek reference to Picard losing the first Enterprise he command when an enemy attacked it in a cheap and non-honorable way) for in 4 days, we were wiped out. My exile time period was chaotic, but I need to get our people information on the evac. I also want our people to have hope and I believe the trolling should stop. I address the Polish people to show respect. I congratulated on their victory which I think they today should feel good for they fought really well. I urge them to play the game without hate and enjoy the fun. I am delighted that the Poles and all the world saw that Germany was a noble nation. We could of easily trolled or called names etc. In our darkest hour, we challenged our rivals to show respect and we showed respect as well. The world saw eGermany as an honorable and respectful nation. I think this was my best as president on both terms.

The evac was messy but effective. I am really proud of Moritz von Saschen and Machtgeil my MoC who send 100's of tickets. Our allies in Russia, Hungary, UK and many more also aided our evac efforts. I was getting 40+ pms a day. Also many people on the IRC and on eRep chat are asking me questions etc. It was really scary at first. I logged in to Chatzilla and in a few sec, 15 pings and pop ups flashing all over the place. The first few days was shocking. It is still a blur to me and I somehow survived that.

With the evac problem resolved, many people demanded RW's or some kind of action to get us liberated. Many in the left are crying for revolution and struggles. This is stupid. How can we fight a RW without support. If we can win battles alone, we could of done so when we had a nation, and not when we have nothing. Only way to win is with Phoenix. At that time Phoenix was busy with Slovenia so Donnie and I did not pushed the German case that hard. After Slovenia got back 2 of their regions back (I think it was 2) and the congress deadline draws nearer, we appealed to Phoenix and they agreed to liberate us.

The battle was hard thought and to tell the truth that night I did not get much sleep. My normal RL daily routine is to shower first, eat breakfast, go for a jog, and then check the computer stuff. That morning I just go on the computer first and skipped most of my routine. I was really happy that we got the Saar and Bavaria back. I did not expect huge results but I really got what I wanted and expected. Now I am captain of the great NCC 1701 E. (Current starship Captain Picard is commanding)

In good German tradition, when we are not fighting against an outside force, we fight against ourselves. Soon after we got our lands back people demanded for a hospital. The reason for the delay of putting up the hospital is not because I do not want people to fight or because we do not have it etc. First we are weak and vulnerable. We do not know what Poland is going to do next. With our MPP with the eUK, they are at active war with us. So if they want to attack, we are done for. However, if we stay invisible and in a non-threaten manner, we are a pointless target. It waste their damage in their efforts to get to the UK. When the MPP with the UK draws to an end and with knowledge that Polish intention was not Germany, we build Lhasa Memorial Hospital in Saarland. Some argued that Bavaria is a better place for it but I disagree. Saarland have less borders and it is easier to defend. Like in the battles in December, the 3 borders of Bavaria made defending almost impossible. The Czech Republic block us and trapping German movements. My idea is that Bavaria can be given up as long as Saarland is protected and secure. We are in survival mode and while I want Bavaria to be ours, but it is not vital to our survival as Saarland is. Germany is fortress Saarland.

I will not go into great details about the ending of MPP's with UK since I wrote a really long article about that as well. If you want to read more about that and my reason in extremely great detail, please read it.

My second term was less exciting than that of the first. I know that we need training war but I do not know where to get it. Survival is my main focus. I saw Germany fell last May/ June. I lost Germany in January, it is really s draining feeling. I felt gutted and a kind of emptiness that I cannot explain. While I know all of you have bad feelings about it, as president my job is to make sure that we survive first. Econ, wellness, everything can suffer as long as Germany is secure.

That is why I understand the eUK peace treaty. I do not know the state of eUK was in. I know their leaders are skilled politicians etc and if they say it is needed, it is needed. I do think the way the message came out was really bad and shocking. I understand their reason and I support the decision, but I think the way it came out especially to the public and to myself personally was a bit shocking. Regardless, I support the decision while a little bit disappointed since I really thought we can win it. Regardless, we need to support eUK and fighting about it does not bring us to a better future or resolve our problems etc.

I am happy that we were able to save France. While EDEN attacks neutral states like the Czech Republic, Denmark, Austria etc, Phoenix is liberating states like Slovenia, Germany and France. They might have more gold or more power etc, we have more passion, determination, resolve, and unity. They push us down but we are not down. We will continue to resist and this cannot last forever. Regardless of the babies and gold, EDEN cannot into UK, France, Germany, Slovenia, Denmark, Austria and most importantly our unity and comradeship. UNITY IS STRENGHT. (TUP motto)

I guess the next big thing is the war with Croatia. Phoenix need us to help with the Croatia effort. They gave us the means to DoW and we did. Phoenix did not think they would win with the Austrian Front. The plan was that they would try it out and that most likely they would need a plan B or a plan C to eliminate Croatia from Austria. So in the final mins of the Austrian front, Phoenix sent a few armies to tank and we won it making our DoW no longer needed. However I think that the DoW greatly helped the battle. With Hungary attacking at noon of that day of the battle, and Germany a few hours DoWing Croatia with the clear purpose to attack Upper Austria, the Croats believe that Phoenix will do something great with either the Hungarian or German Front. The Austrians will not win it. This led to the deception that Austria is going to be an easy win and did not defend it as much as they should.

The Swedish campaign was not much of a campaign for eGermany. It was more of a Phoenix operation in which I did not request. Our goal was SHH but we did not get our target. We got Mecklenburg instead. While any gains was nice, it was not needed for our survival. I read that some eGermans was upset that there was no public order but why should there be any? The BW was ordered to fight. All past civilian military orders were either accessible in Germany or requires no moving during the exile time period. Civilian orders are either for defending our nation itself or via MPP. We are not responsible for moving people or notifying civilians to right in RW's which we cannot access without moving etc. It was not for the survival of the state and those regions are fluff. Nice to have fluff but not the end of the world.

I am really happy with both candidates in the election. Both Ban Danna and Machtgeil are great candidates. While I think Ban Danna is more realistic in most matters of politics and policies, Machtgeil is a loyal eGerman and regardless of who wins, I can rest assure that eGermany is in good hands. This is going to be an interesting election. I do not know when Machtgeil begin planning for the election but I did see Ban Danna working hard even before my reelection. I am sure Machtgeil also prepared in a very early time as well as I see he is really organized and this time I feel Machtgeil is much better prepared than last month. Both of these candidates grow a lot. From their position as minister at first that is not too visible, now they are at the spotlight. I wish you all the best of luck and despite their differences, I know they will fight for eGermany in the best way they can. I leave office confident that eGermany is in safe hands.

Now I will like to talk about current issues that I think is really important to the political discourse of eGermany. First the Notenbank. I personally have no problem with being more transparent with policy and the budgets. Maintaining a stable DEM is not a terrible idea in my opinion. My biggest problem with the Notenbank is with congress [Bundestag] having so much influence in the operation of the bank. Under the plan, the Party Presidents of the 5 major parties will send their reps to congress and the congress will decide who they want. Also congress have the power to fire people maintaining the bank. This sounds like a good idea on paper but I fear that congress is getting too much power and that congress should not have direct power to pack the bank. I fear this will make the bank and bank policy politicized. Congress not base on merit but on party lines will pack the bank with their friends and party members making bank policy political. I think the bank should be apolitical. I rather have organization like Phoenix to maintain the money since they do not have a domestic political agenda in Germany. They want to have Germany healthy and they will not pack the bank with their party members etc. I am not against the Notenbank in theory, but I do not care for the current bank idea on the grounds that congress get too much say in the bank. Congress makes law but does run banks. While I do not mind transparency I do not think the MoF or the bank needs to be totally transparent. Like in real life the Federal Reserve is not accountable/ report to the Congress [America]. While they publish what is needed, they are not at the mercy at the congress and they should not be. Key word is that the Fed MUST BE APOLITICAL.

Another issue I am interested in is language. I know some of you will complain that this article as well as many other articles in the past are only in English. Not being a real German, I cannot write and express myself fully in the German language. While some Germans cannot read English, and I understand your situation, I think that those who can understand English but complains about it is lazy. I got PMs or comments sometimes in German but many times in English that this is Germany, my nation and that all text should be in German. I humbly disagree. I think all text should be in German and English. I know it is hard to write in both languages to find a translator. I cannot honestly expect someone to translate this long article which at this point contains 3393 words. If you want to translate 3401 words now, I would thank you. It is hard and as long as you can understand it, I think it is good. I use google translate everyday. Also this is Germany my nation... This is eGermany. This is mine nation as much as yours. While English speakers are a minority in eGermany, this nation is as much yours as it is mine. We are really active in our common community and to think differently is discrimination.

In closing, it is an honour and a privilege to serve as your president in the last 2 months. I really enjoyed it. I have both highs and low. I made mistakes as well as great policies. I want to thank all my ministers for their steadfast support. Donnie for helping me in Phoenix, Ban Danna in the MoF, LordFalkenborn for the BB project, Moritz and Machtgeil for the evac and other MoC, Iseutz in for great intelligence, Tiuri for his great diligence in the operations of the MoM, and Bernhardms for the Notenbank discussion. They all deserve our respect and thanks for their hard work and sweat. I could not have done so without them.

eGermany is truly special. Land of dreams and sunshine. I made many friends here. We are family. I have good times here and I wrote my favorite article in this great nation. eGermany is always going to be my Heimat and I am really happy to have the chance to serve in this great nation. My plans in the future will be much more simpler. I will end my Party President position at OMG. I feel that I have lost my way a bit. OMG is a party that suppose to help newer players into power. My first term, I helped Chickenwing and Peter Lankton and others into politics. The last election was mainly focused on the elites or people I know. I became more cynical and I want to fun and innocence back. That is why I am stepping down as PP and I hope a fresher and more vibrant leader will step up and take the captains chair. 5-6 months of PP is a long time and relics like me needs to give the new generation to chances to be in power too. With that said, I would like to get back to eJournalism and continue my "Better know a _______" series which will interview congressman, or other people who influence the society at home and abroad. It will try to interview people who make great impacts to eGerman or the international level but are not well known or that they do not hold prestigious positions. I do plan to run for congress and maybe a minister in the future but for now I want to take a break and relax. It is a pleasure and I wish you well.
