[POTUS] State of the Union - Day 2443

Campaign mode doesn’t stop the progress

Mood Music: Take a seat, Steve

I woke up this morning and started thinking about the State of the Union and realized I couldn’t remember what I’ve done all week. Notwithstanding my lack of mental retention, it’s been a hell of a week.

Our biggest success have certainly been on the battlefield. Last week, Argentina proposed an airstrike on Georgia and instead of going after the Polish gold mine as many people expected, they attacked our brothers in Russia. Needless to say, this was not well received by the eUS government.

The response was rapid and decisive. For the first time since its resurrection, Arm America was used to provide logistics to provide tanks to our allies (they provided the tanks, we provided the quartermasters in NSC Co-Director john nwp, and Secretary of Defense Disco Musolini) rather than just eAmerican citizens. RWs were opened in 4 Argentine regions to drain damage from the main event, and not only did we repel the attack on Russian soil, but we also managed to win every single one of the RWs. Argentina saw the true power of a force combining nations from Pacifica, Sirius, Aurora, Asgard, and the newly created Root. The Russian Foreign Ministry released an article about the events. I think I can speak on behalf of the people of the eUnited States when I say what an honor it is to fight alongside such remarkable allies. We truly are a unified brotherhood. For a long time “Spoland” has been a strong partnership. In my mind, the age of “RUSA” has arrived, ladies and gentlemen.

Yes, I painted my hand like that.

Winning in Russia wasn’t enough for the people of the eUS, though. Yesterday, we reopened Arm America for not one, but two battles for two separate allies: Latvia and Mexico. Both battles were resounding successes. The ability that this nation has to support our allies is tremendous. When we stand together, we can accomplish anything. I want to personally thank all the members of the USAF and all the PMUs around the country for their efforts over the last few days. We have shown the eWorld just how influential we can be together. That’s the kind of progress we need.

This week has also seen some excellent work from the Department of Education. An updated article about bonuses was released, as well as a great article about the DoE Website and what is available there. We also saw some educational content in yesterday’s WHPR, specifically about the new housing market as well as the various alliances in eRepublik right now. The Secretary of Media, Dave Gulya, had set a high bar this term, but I think this may have been the best WHPR yet.

A final note: yesterday, my wife and I went to the hospital for an ultrasound. Some of you know that we are expecting our second child later this year. I’m pleased to report that the Johnston clan will be adding yet another girl to its ranks.

Your questions are welcome in the comments. I’ll be doing my best to answer quickly.

Dio bless you, and Dio bless the eUnited States of America.
