[PotUS] Day Thirty One

Hey America,

Today is the end of my first month as President and I am extremely proud of what we have achieved as a country. A few highlights of our successes in the past month:

Foreign Affairs:

We strengthened our nation considerably by formalising our friendly relationships with the UK, Poland and Spain, and moving towards the anti Serb block after the dissolving of TWO. These nations give us security in Western Europe and allow us to hold onto our bonuses safely. In the Far East, we have been successful in signing an alliance with the Republic of China (Taiwan) who have been exceptional throughout the entire month, working with us in Japan and interacting extremely well with our administration. We will continue to make new friendships while holding onto our old ones, while prioritising eUS interests.

Military Affairs:

At the Executive’s recommendation, Congress gave generous grants to both Easy Company and the Special Forces. Both of these MUs performed exceptionally well and had regiments that ended up in the top 25 internationally, allowing a huge proportion of eUS damage to be mobile until the next Tournament.

We managed to merge Rogue Squadron into the Ultramarines and the Special Forces, improving USAF efficiency.

Domestic Affairs:

This was an extremely successful month for eUSA domestically, with both the Interior and the Education department working tirelessly to improve the gaming experience of newer players. Education in particular launched several programs, allowing newer citizens to win extra cash. Media, under Mourning Star, also improved and has provided a steady stream of info to the eUS population about the developments involving our country. The PTO was, once again, defeated and weakened further.

In general, we’ve had quite an active month on the battlefields too, moving into Mexico via a rental agreement and into Russia where the American-Siberian wall still exists, as well as going to Japan for full food bonuses. The Portugal war which was started to provide the 10% NE bonus for eUS soldiers during the competition has gone quite well too, despite an initial hiccup.

I intend to keep up my consistency in all affairs relevant to this great country, and to continue our successes in February, provided that I manage to get elected. Thank you, once again, for the huge support I have received across all parties. I will not let you down.
