[POTUS] Ask the President Week 1

Day 1,147, 18:04 Published in USA Canada by Haliman

Alright America, I’m here to answer a few questions submitted to me, and also to give you an update on the country! Here we go.

Ask the President

What is your stance on PanAm and how do you plan to further/stop it?

Well, PanAm is in full motion. We are meeting with other country leaders daily, and are trying to make this alliance a reality. Things really are coming together great. I’ll talk about this more in the Foreign section of this article.

What is the greatest foreign policy challenge facing the eUSA this month?

Being open to change, by far. We are talking to people that we have been rivals with for a very long time, and when these alliances are made, our country will be much safer.

How do you plan on bringing excitement back to eRepublik for us in the eUSA?

I am constantly talking to members of my cabinet, as well as the fine leaders of our military to bring excitement to our country once more. We negotiated a successful landswap with China and Pakistan recently, and will be moving from there!

Do you have a life while being president?

What do you think? In all seriousness, I am working my hardest to keep this country running, and will not settle for anything but my best.

Is the formation of PANAM to create a Fortress Americana out of North and South America or to form a world wide Alliance? Will we be asking European nations to join? If so who? Will we be asking Pacific Rim nations to join? If so who?

The formation of PanAm is to help solidify our future in world politics, and to make sure we, and all of our allies, are strong, safe, and secure.

We’re talking to countries all over the world about alliances, not just the Americas, so we are branching out.

It’s too early to reveal who we’re talking to, but it will be made public soon enough with new MPPs!

You people need to ask more questions! Most of them were just repeats of each other. I’ll answer what I can, every Monday.

Foreign

As I alluded to in my last article, we are in talks with multiple different nations. We had a PanAm summit earlier today, and it went amazing. We got through to multiple new nations, and are on the right track to making this alliance great. There is a lot of interest in joining.

Canada’s president, Wes Lewis, ragequit today. He stole the treasury, and declared us their Natural Enemy. The law will undoubtedly fail, so there’s nothing to worry about. My condolences go to the Gov’t of Canada for this blatant act of treason.

We are working with the INCI group, and are on friendly terms. We’re coming to an agreement at the minute about how they should conduct their group (in regards to us, of course). I have nothing but the nation’s security at heart, and I feel the actions we are taking make sure we are protected.

Finally, in an act of true cooperation, you may have noticed we declared Pakistan as our natural enemy. This is a region swap. This is great for both of our countries, since it opens up a new era of communication. We are working together with Pakistan, and are very glad they accepted our proposal!
