[PM] Addressing my Mistakes & the Future of Australia
Aus Prime Minister Office
Addressing my mistakes and the cabinet
In addition to the mistakes made with the NE on Argentina. I made the galactic mistake of not following up on the tasks and duties of each member of the cabinet. It is for that I believe I should be impeached, I personally believe we've underperformed. For my role in this, I will say it is because I focused on one particular task, our relationship with our allies.
I thought, or maybe foolishly hoped, that people were getting work done on there own, this was clearly a huge lax in judgment. I thought if I kept operations secret they couldn't get out to our enemies, without thinking to make sure our senators didn't approve an MPP I didn't want renewed for reasons of Airstrike. I over looked Military Unit coordination until today, when someone brought it up, so another mistake by my assuming since it hadn't come up before today, that it was being handled. For all of what is written above this line, and probably a few other things I've over looked, I'd understand completely if the senate proposed to impeach me before days end.
In honesty, I hate writing, I lined up a large media team in the hope they could do the writing, but in part because I didn't know what to tell them to write, and in part inactivity in that department, that idea failed. Further honesty, the last article was failing at it's purpose as well, so why bother keeping it up. That being said, I'm going to try to write a more substantial version of it.
The cabinet has been shuffled, to address things for the rest of my term. People are either included in a collective cabinet, on Leave of Absence, an Advisor, or they have been dismissed for inactivity. Given the operation is now collective, with no departments, titles mean nothing at this point.
Suggestions for the Future of Australia
Firstly, I believe our Senate needs to be reorganized for the future of this country. For the past few months, the senate is run out of a mass message, personally I don't think this is enough, and while the forum isn't that active, I believe if we could get all of our senators to use it when they are in office, that the senate second of the forum can be active and productive. I'm not saying go back to the way things were, and create a bunch of laws and procedure, but just I'd like to see the senators hold some discussions among themselves.
I also believe that Military Unit coordination should be more than a mass message as well, I don't know how they feel about forums, but I believe they should use a second of the forum for coordination or a room on IRC. It is ultimately the MU commanders choice on what they decide to do, but I felt I'd make a suggestion.
I believe our community is at a cross roads, we can go one way and rise up again, or we can fall off a cliff, it all comes down to the community and those who take the lead going forward.
Closing Thoughts
Regardless of how this term is judged, regardless of what opinion is of me as a person, I just want to see eAustralia succeed, as it is my favorite nation in eRep. So I believe that eAustralia can easily get back on track with the right spirit and hard work. Australia has always shown a will to fight on against cruel odds, it's one of the reasons I like being here.

It isn't easy being CP but barring some minor setbacks, Australia's done admirably otherwise I think.
You know what Molly, this is the article you should have written originally.
Yes you made mistakes - show me one CP who has not. and while the buck does stop with you, it is a pity that you did not get more support from your senate.
Believe it or not, I did vote for you.
And I like the tone of your closing thoughts.
This article is better!
Realising ones weakness is the first step to becoming a better person. You will arise from this term a better and wiser person. I wish you all the best and I know you will stay active in eAust.
...Now hopefully some of the armchair coaches will take a look in the mirror and ask themselves if they could of been more supportive of the government rather then criticize it.
Impeached? That's a bit drastic.
I couldn't agree more that senate needs to find it's voice and it's balls, it's gone from being a body shrouded in stupid and idiotic laws to becoming a quiet mouse scared of it's own shadow. But one thing you are finding with eAustralia that has changed since your last term - too many sign up, do nothing and leave the community scratching their heads at what is happening...and if they see nothing they guess that nothing is happening. Getting active Ministers in Aus is a difficult job but getting ones that can be bothered to write articles? That can be mission impossible in some terms.
