[PM] A View From Number 10 - Closing Thoughts

Day 2,085, 13:51 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Bohemond4

Greetings eUK,

It’s been an interesting month, but it is time for my term to end and the next Prime Minister take over. I wish all the candidates look, although it seems Carlini has taken the chair by storm.

So what has a Boh Government done this month?

Homes Affairs, Health and Finance

A rocky start to the Ministry of Health was dealt with the appointment of a new Minister, the sending out of a backlog of supplies and the subsequent continuation of the Ministry working smoothly. We have operated on a surplus of donations which has meant that unlike other terms we have not had to beg quite as much.

FightandProduce did his job superbly well keeping the Ministry of Home Affairs team focused and diligent until the end of the month. Many times theres a drop off in activity in this Ministry, something I am glad to not have seen this month. The Ministry has released a whopping 20 articles complete with Guides, Histories, entertainment and interviews.

The Finance Ministry was also superb this month with Carlini dominating the Org scene and handing out gold loans left, right and centre as well as keeping me accountable for every penny spent. The only issues we still have is the failure of the Admins to release the information from the Orgs to us. Despite constant nagging, nothing more was heard indicating how useless they are.

Foreign Affairs

Despite Thomas being afk for several days, this Ministry has run smoothly between himself and McAfee - even without an ambassador program. Despite a rocky month in TWO, we have remained diplomatically in a strong position. There have also been frequent updates from the Ministry to the populace with regard to what we has been going on in the world.

We are also pleased to see our working relationship with Argentina continue to grow and develop and I, personally, look forward to working with you in the coming months some more.

Thomas Meeting with Foreigners

Defence

A solid month with order being released fairly regularly, although we seem to have suffered into the end of the month with laxity creeping in - I blame Schmidt for going on holiday!

Despite criticism, I would say that the MoD has done well with what has been a tall order. Moving up from this Ministry I have not been able to devote the time I would want to it, however the sky didn’t fall in, supplies were given out and wars were had.

I think we are all glad that the eUK has actually done an Airstrike before it’s so commonplace no-one cares about them. Indeed with the potential for massive reductions in MPPs they will become even cheaper! Expect to see a lot more of these around the world, Military strategy will never be the same again.

Combat Orders have also entered the fray changing the Military Module. To facilitate this the Ministry of Defence and I sought a MU, which we were kindly donated by Ayame Crocodile. This will be the official CP Military Unit to use combat orders and I will pass it on to Carlini or his designated Commander.

I would like to say, finally, that its not been the smoothest month internationally, although I feel domestically this month has gone well. We have spent less than the last government on loans and wars, and less than many before us. Our population has increased and we have increased our relations with many nations.

Bohemond4 and Cabinet experiencing Freedom - except Carlini

I would like to wish Carlini the best of luck this coming month, I am sure you will do well!

Cheers
