[PM] A Few Updates
Evening children,
In the last few days the new term has begun and things are starting to get underway. With the forum being down for 24 hours it slowed down work in Ministries like that of the Home Affairs, however now that it’s back up things can go back to normal. You can read the Day 1,357 announcement on the forum here which also has a small report from one of our Co-Minister of Home Affairs, Betafoxtrot. Check the forum everyday for daily announcements and information.
Belgium Training War
The Belgium Training War is still going on and now that Admin decided to bring in new missions, it was agreed with the Belgian President that we should keep it going until Day 1,361 (The day the missions finish). While this helps Belgium more to complete two of their missions as we’re their Natural Enemy, being in this Training War does however allow you to fight in any Belgian Resistance Wars that pop up daily and get the 25 kills for the Mercenary Mission and Medal.

Day 1,361 is the final day of this Training War but that doesn’t mean it will be the last. There would still be plenty of time to organise another and depending on the circumstances (More missions, medals etc.) it’s still a possibility that we’ll get another underway in the future. For this Training War though things have gone very smooth, there was a slight blip on Sunday but that hasn’t caused any problems that could affect it. As we usually say please avoid the direct UK attack (Flanders) and fight for Belgium in the Resistance War (Brussels).
Ireland
In the last few days Ireland has been getting their regions back up to the point where all they had left to take back was Louth. After a direct attack hit Louth (Which we successfully defended) we’ve turned things around and are at the moment fighting in Cork after winning in Shannon and Wexford. Another Resistance War has started up in Louth which we’re winning, this fits quite well with the Belgian Training War as the different Resistance Wars are springing up which will help greatly in that mission. As Ireland is our Natural Enemy, you can take advantage of this in the UK attacks (e.g. Cork) and get some kills to complete the other mission.
If other battles that are priority are secure then get some hits in an Irish Battle (Or Belgian) to try and get those missions completed. There isn’t long left before these missions go, so make the most of this opportunity!

Military
As was announced a few days ago Metalmicky999 has taken over as Minister of Defence. For those of you that are in the Military you’ll have noticed that he’s interested in what you have to say and give people in our Armed Forces the best experience they can have. Offer your opinions in this topic or if you’re in the Special Forces, here. If you’re aren’t in the Military then put in an application!.
We’ve seen a fair amount of progress happen in the last few days in the military and lots more plans have been put forward that you’ll be seeing implemented throughout the rest of this term. There have been several ideas of reform put forward by current members of the Armed Forces and we will be looking into these in-depth, sorting out the pros and cons. There are still a few problems that are being sorted out like supplies, so if you have any problems let a member of Command know and it’ll be sorted as soon as possible. I’d also like to say good luck and well done to Bron Avery on taking up the position as the Commanding Officer of the Special Forces! Don't forget Steeeeeeeeeeeeev, he's now the Elite Forces Commander! DON'T FORGET IT!
Thanks,
El Presidente

At least you've not been hacked yet. Seriously, when the forum went down I thought "it's last August all over again."
