Greetings to all our citizens and foreign friends.

We are here to make an official announcement regarding our current Natural Enemy proposal toward eIndonesia. As we have just signed the NAP agreement, we are not proposing eIndonesia as a Natural Enemy. The law proposal is neither a decision from the cabinet nor the Congress. We sincerely apologize for any confusion and misunderstanding it could cause, and we will strongly announce again, that we are not proposing eIndonesia as a natural enemy. It is a personal mistake made by a congress member, and we are fixing the problem right now. WorkSafeBC has admitted that it was a personal mistake. Not only has it compromised the trust our allies gave us, it has also interfered with other NE plans that were to follow. The President’s office and MoFA hereby makes an official statement that we strongly disagree with this proposal and we are very sorry toward eIndonesia government and for any delay to our citizen’s NE missions that may be caused by this proposal.

Please accept our deepest apology regarding the NE proposal and the delay and confusion it caused.

各位國民、外國好友：

這裡是外交部聯合總統府對於此次NE案的緊急聲明。
總統府嚴重譴責本次未經正式議會程序討論即提起之NE議案，本NE案經提案議員WorkSafeBC承認屬個人行為，但此作法不僅造成政府對外信譽之破壞，更影響NE行程安排，內閣在本案結束後，將配合議會儘速爭取時間開啟計畫中之NE法案。

最後外交部及總統府代表全體政府同仁向印尼友人及耽誤國內國民解NE任務的時間敬上最高歉意。
