[NN] Congressional Election July 2011 Results

Next Congress Election just behind us. In yesterday’s voting took part 85 citizens, who has chosen 12 congress members (nine of them directly with the highest number of votes, and three by granting a wild card).

Results are not surprising. Election won Osterreich Independence Party with 5 representatives, Party of the Horny Princess secured 3 seats, Austrian Coalition of Patriots managed to reach 2 congress members, however two newest Austrian Parties –CoLT and Republican Party of Osterreich must settle for having only 1 representative each in Austrian Congress.

Personally I’m very happy that we have so many different political options in Congress, it’s a pity that Austria has so few regions 🙁

Anyway, congratulations to today’s winners, but first of all congratulations to last-term congressmen – it was really hard month, some things gone better, some worse, but generally speaking - well done.
