[New Era] Advertising, Charity and Congress

A lot of my Hate Mail is related to two things, the New Era Advertising/Communication Strategy and New Era Charity. In this article would like to explain what we are doing and why.
There is also a treasure trove of New Era information at the end of the article such as how to run for Congress, what articles we have out and how you can get included!
Charity
Most parties have a New Player Charity where newbies are given free things. The oldest I can find evidence for is from TUP in 2010 which is still active. UKRP and ESO also have these.
Some parties supply their members just like Military Units. The oldest one of these I can remember is the People's Communist Party Communes from 2008? which are still active. One Vision also does this.
New Era do both of these, details are at the bottom of this article.
Be under no illusions, every party gives out free stuff so that you join that party. At New Era we want to prove that we are useful to you, we will help you and that you will be better off playing the game with us. We also want to give you a head start in the game to make it more fun so that you keep playing.
I'm not a rich player, I just have more stuff because I've been playing for longer and better than other players.
Any player in a major party trying to spin this in a negative way is just a hypocrite - as every party does it. They just feel threatened because New Era offers you more.
Communication
Every party has to solve the puzzle of how to get their articles into the Top News section of the media. The Top 5 shows on your homepage and the Top 20 shows if you press "more news". Articles stay there for 48 hours.
Some parties aren't too bothered by this. They are Forum or IRC based parties, New Era is mostly based in the game though so we need our Articles in the Top News to operate.
My articles are generally high quality and get into the Top 5 of the Media, but it takes about a day to get enough votes to get there. That means that I need to write 1 article per day to always be in the Top 5 - as that is my responsibility as Party President.
To increase my productivity I do two things:
1) I post my articles during "Prime Time" around 6-7pm so that the 48 hour duration actually falls across three days.
2) I buy a few extra votes from an advertising company so that I get Top 5 news right away.
This means that I only need to post an article once every 3 days to keep that Top 5 spot. It saves me time so that I can do more things and means I have 1 or 2 less articles in the Top 20 so that others show.
Any player trying to spin this in a negative way is just attacking innovation. I want guys in the UK Government making things easier, more efficient and taking the game mechanics to their limits to make a benefit for the UK. I don't want them moaning like old men because they can't keep up.
Policy Groups have gotten off to a great start! The groups have been remade with all of the new people who wanted to join! Topics so far include...
Economy Group: Tax.
Military Group: How best to use your Energy, Improving Orders and Helping RWs.
Education Group: Congressman Test, Vote Coordination, Mentoring.
Diplomacy Group: Better Relations with English Speaking Countries and Good War Targets.

We expect to get around 8 Congressmen this month but we have always beaten my estimate! We will also be helping PCP to get 2 Congressmen, GoUK to get 1 Congressmen and possibly GBDP for a Congressman too.

1) Join and take part in a Policy Group.
2) Write newspaper articles and get comments/votes.

Why is goku's vote buying is total bullshit. Well it keeps better articles that are worth more of an audience out of the top 5.Goku's articles are actually so bad even with a top 3 party backing he can not get them into the top 5 how embarrassing,If you question his articles your called a troll or some other bullshit with a special exclusive if your in the same party you are shouted that your an enemy of the party.Goku has shown in his positions of government biased or he is incompetent in his roles.When asked direct questions Goku is great at derailing questions he does not want to answer.

Goku you're trying to normalise vote buying by parties, you do realise, which means that you wish for all parties to do the same. Now if I remember correctly, there are 5 top parties, and 5 top news articles. What you are proposing then, is that all 5 parties, should continually dominate all top 5 news spots. Thus crushing the primary voice of the very people those parties claim to represent.
It sounds quite abhorrent, and extremely fallable.
