[MoI] Cabinet Report Day 2019

Day 2,019, 18:33 Published in Australia Australia by eAus Department of Information

As Minister of Information this term I have been busy vanquishing enemies, finding shelters for sick puppies and making Australia a much better place. When I haven’t been doing that I’ve been collecting cabinet reports and watching hours of cat videos.

Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Foreign Affairs/My Favourite Minister – lancer450

Lately I have been watching and participating in discussions on IRC and in the cabinet room mostly these past few days. Earlier in the term I discussed the possibility of an airstrike with a couple of eChinese officials but they really didn’t go anywhere sadly. Let me just be clear, I wasn’t aiming to airstrike eChina at all. We were just working on finding some other opportunities for us around that area. I’ve spoken with key alliance officials (acting as NaN Proconsul and dPM ) and I am hoping to be able to meet with them soon. It’s been rather difficult finding a good time that fits most peoples’ schedules but I’m sure we will be able to work something out soon. I’ve continued to help out processing citizenship requests though most of that has now been transferred over to Molly Jo who has now taken on that role. Besides that, I haven’t had much going on other than offering my opinion and some advice to the prime minister every now and then. As some may know, in RL I am still going to university and these past few weeks I have been preparing and studying for my finals so I haven’t been as active as I would like to be. I apologise for this and will try to remain involved and informed during any free time I can get. o7

Minister of Foreign Affairs – DraimAlexander

To be totally honest because of a combination of very heavy work requirements, an exhaustion of stupid politics (compared to acceptable politics ) and a lot of work in NaN I have been focusing most of my work on NaN and liasoning with other NaN countries. We have continued to work through multiple applications for membership and talking to other countries interested in joining. We have also worked as an HQ talking with the leadership of other alliances and working as a middle man to try and help one of our NaN countries obtain a peace deal and region rental agreement with one of their neighbors to try and ensure that they have a consistent congress. Lancer and Irule have been picking up most of the slack elsewhere.

Ministers of Defence – Valentyme and Majester

Myself and Majester have been busy defending the national by setting up Australia's very own starwars program. For more info read here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strategic_Defense_Initiative Mostly we've just had our hands full with posting orders and keeping up with NaN battles. It seems that we won't have to try and win battles to secure a congress this month so that is a relief. Other than that there's not much else to report.

And the Minister of Finance, Venja, with possibly his longest report ever?
Tax income so far this month has been $72,595 which is $4,033 per day. Note that we budgeted $100,000 for the full month which is $3,226 per day. We are running a little ahead of expectation due to the surge in buying supplies during the recent MU competition. Recent daily tax has been a little lower and the average for the month will probably end up around $3,500 per day.

Minister of Education MrCooke was unavailable for comment after taking leave to further his career in the pornography industry.

Fellow Minister of Education Callumh123 declined to comment when questioned about kicking one of Binda’s cats last week. When more news comes out on this story, you’ll see it here first.
