[MoHA] Report, Day 1515

Day 1,515, 05:33 Published in Belgium Belgium by eBelgian Presidency

Here is the weekly report from your MoHA.

Nohjis set several goals for each ministry at the beginning of his term, and I would like to report our progress on them.

Our first goal was to evaluate social programs from several eCountries and find some that we could adapt for eBelgium, with proposals to be made to Congress. We are at the end of our research phase, and have a number of interesting ideas to choose from, including such things as support for new citizens, land grants, and micro-loans to aid in business development.

Several other goals are well underway. The eEducation underministry is already sending out messages to all newborn citizens. One of our newly immigrated citizens, Oleksandr, is also sharing information about programs he has seen in other countries and about tutorials others are using. We hope to start publishing updated tutorials on a regular basis. eMigration is also running smoothly.

The star of our new government is MoFUN. There are several interesting new games running concurrently, with broad participation. We have just completed a song contest sponsored by e|1temkd with another about to begin, as well as a survival game where several of us fell prey to zombies – the first being our beloved CP! We are currently having Le Tour de France, with jerseys changing hands frequently, and are about to begin a new game with a prize of 2G. To participate in these and other games, sign in here, introduce yourself, and look for the Ministry of FUN.

To stimulate our national media, there is an awards program being sponsored by MaryamQ. You can find details here. If this is successful – and there have already been some very good articles published – it may be repeated. Everyone is encouraged to join. As an added incentive, an eAmerican friend has donated 5G to sweeten the pot.

All citizens are encouraged to join our national forum, where you can learn more about the above mentioned activities, wish a certain someone a happy birthday, and get involved in debates about the future of eBelgium. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
