Huge Prizes on Offer & a Great Month Ahead

This month should be a very exciting one at Home Affairs.

Firstly, some introductions as to personnel:

Sven Goran Duran-Duran, MoHA
Bamber, dMoHA

Fight&Produce, Co-MoEd
KaptenJohnson, Co-MoEd

As for what's going on, there are two areas the department will be expected to focus on in the coming weeks:

1) Making players richer. NWG stated in his manifesto that "I would like to see more help on explaining to new players on how to use the Money Market, what is best to do with there gold and to dust off on how to make the most of training ground discounts and company sales.[also]It was mentioned before about helping eUK player maybe as a priority over friendly nations with the leasing of National Orgs. Now i know this was looked at before with regards to getting people to help each other as a joint venture on orgs to help maximum potential profits. And I believe this is a good idea and something which needs to be looked at also"

In light of the above, this month, the Government is promoting orgs and how to use them: get involved. Orgs a are a great way of making cash and you'll be surprised how useful they can be. You will hear some people say, "orgs are only useful to rich players" and, if we focus on the monetary market aspect of orgs then indeed it is true to say that you need a lot of cc to get maximum benefit. This shouldn't stop poorer players thinking about using orgs though as - for instance - when poorer players join together in a co-operative they can share the burden and the profits.

In addition to the above, the department has also had some exciting news recently that should help make players richer:

a retiring player has bequeathed the department a war fund and has intructed us to have "as much fun as possible with it".

Logiconor's Goodbye

Please join me in thanking Logiconor for such a generous gift \o/ It represents one of the biggest legacies the department has ever seen.

The monies will be used for Entertainment projects alongside other various prizes and some great, real incentives.

We'll discuss some of that in more detail later.

2) Making players smarter. NWG stated in his manifesto that "the eUK Library was build and set up as our own font of Knowledge. A place where new players could be directed for guides. Now all we have is players able to offer small bits of advise if and when they are asked. Of course this will take some time as I dont know the state of it currently but its gonna need work to bring it up to date and usable in today's game."

Therefore, one of the primary goals this term will be updating the eUk Library. The library as you can see, has not been updated in a while and there's been loads of useful stuff published since.
The eUK library, if kept upto date, is a great way of finding everything useful in one place. There's already some really good stuff on there, so it would be a shame to waste such a great resource.

Entertainment, Prizes and Incentives

As I was saying earlier, thanks to Logiconor we've got some SERIOUS CASH to give away this month and beyond.

A variety of ideas have already been put forward, including:
- a possible eUK vs eIreland vs eGermark Tournament involving various games and competitions with fantastic incentives and prizes for eUK players.

More details on that soon, but in the meantime the Ministry Of Home Affairs would like to announce the first initiative that has benefited from the windfall:

The Logiconor Prize for Exceptional Journalism

Big Money, Cash Prizes

Let's face it - we need more quality and interesting articles in the eUK and money is a great motivator.

As such, starting at the end of this month there will be a 3000cc prize for whoever writes the best article in that month with 1000cc for 2nd place. The judge will be the CP.

In addition, as a special bonus this month, smaller prizes of 300cc will given out EVERY WEEK to whoever writes the best article that week with 100cc for second place. The MoHA will pick these winners.

We know we've got some great writers so please get involved and you could end up earning yourself over 3000cc for your efforts.

NB - this competition is only open to eUK citizens.

Further, we've got some thinking to do about how we spend the rest of the cash. As such, the department wants YOUR opinion on what games and competitions you would like to see this month with some HUGE prizes.

Any eUK citizen who answers these questions and pm's the answer back to this MoHA org will be paid 25cc for their time. That's right - over a day's wages just for answering 3 questions:

i) Would you get involved in a eUK v eIreland v eGermany Games Tournament?

i)a) If so - what games would you like to play? (e.g. games like chess or poker, or steam games etc?)

ii) what games and competitions would you like to see this month in the eUK?

Please just copy and past the questions and pm back the answers to either this org or anyone in the MoHA. eUK citizens who respond will be paid 25cc.

Ok, I'll sign off now but don't forget that by the end of the week we'll be announcing the first winners of the journalism prizes 🙂

Thanks for taking the time to read this,
