[MoFa] What's happening in the e-world?

Day 1,575, 14:01 Published in United Kingdom North Macedonia by Foreign Office

Today we’ll tell you about the latest events in the eWorld and how that affects the UK.
Let’s start with the three countries that occupy us:

Canada:

At this moment in time Canada is a political mess with important people leaving the country. It started when their president got threatened by someone who wanted to publish his personal info. The problem was that the number two in the Canadian election once stole their treasury. This meant that if the Canadian congress accepted the retreat of presidency from Acacia Mason they had to put up with someone they didn’t want to have in control. Because of this situation many Canadians have decided to leave their country, and some have even decided that they wanted to fight against their own country. This was most notable in the latest UK-Canada wars were some of their people tanked against Canada. The president has put up a poll to decide what direction Canada should go in giving them five options. The options are to be seen here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/Home_Landing.aspx?sm=qvPVAOrFzw8hL6BBYOhJKSAm1bPOzFw4Sxk%2bSmLKh3o%3d
We’ll monitor the situation and see what comes out of it.

France:

France has successfully attacked the only two regions Hungary had left in Austria. This means that:
They are now trying to fight off the resistance wars that ONE has put up for them in both Switzerland and Austria. This could mean they are currently preoccupied with things other than the UK, giving us some breathing space in our battles against them.

Irelan😛

Not that much going on in Ireland right now. They have continued to strengthen their army by recruiting in Croatia. Their plan is to gather an army strong enough to fight their battles on their own without having to much help from EDEN. This means we could face a stronger Irish army in the near future.

Now about what’s happening in the rest of the worl😛

Macedonia:
First of all we’d like to congratulate Macedonia on their recent victories in Italy. By first conquering Apulia and then getting rid of their region in Apulia they were able to attack Italy without being attacked by any other EDEN countries. By now they have gone into Italy and their campaign seems to be a success.

Bulgaria-EDEN:
Much is happening in Bulgaria at the moment. When Turkey got their trial-ship in EDEN a lot of their citizens appealed and started fighting against other EDEN countries. The fighting has stopped and now a referendum has been held to see if they are rejoining EDEN and if they are okay with Turkey joining EDEN. With 578 votes ‘for’ and 409 votes ‘against’ it they have agreed to rejoin. But seeing the small difference the turmoil might not be over yet.

Bulgaria-Lithuania-Russia
In the meanwhile they have made an agreement with Russia and Lithuania about a landswap. The UK is involved with this as treasure-keeper for the gold of Russia and Bulgaria. If one of these countries doesn’t keep their end of the treaty UK will send the gold to Lithuania. Once the treaty has ended the gold will be returned to the countries.
You can find the treaty here: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-1-1985436/1/20

Argentina-Australia-New Zealand-Peru-Chile
The problems between Argentina and New Zealand-Australia already date from January, but it still hasn’t been solved. It started when Australia asked for a region to get extra resources. Argentina denied which meant that relationships dropped. After that they started bickering and it reached it a low in February. Argentina are now searching for expansion in Australia and Australia, with help of New Zealand, are blocking the attacks Argentina has planned. If you want to read up more about these problems the Australian president has written an article about it here: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-cp-the-argentina-affair-1985342/1/20

We hope to publish more updates about what is happening in the world the coming weeks.
