Ohai there people,

I think it is time for another update. Things have calmed down a bit after the exciting week we have had with the changes in EDEN and the agreement with Ireland.

On the agenda we have:

* Welcoming of a new dMoFa
* A call for UK citizens to return home
* Resume of the recent changes
* An update on world events



Welcome LilyJayneSummers

After talking with Talon Karrde about getting new people in cabinet for the future, we have decided to add another dMoFa for the remainder of this month. Lily has expressed that she is eager to get more involved in foreign affairs and has been employed as an envoy already.
So Lily, welcome to your new job!




No place like home

I am not going to give you a history lesson on why eUK lacks in citizens. Honestly, it will be hard to get to back to UK’s golden years. We have seen a number of people move to foreign countries for personal gain, military benefits, lack of motivations or a combination. I, hereby, call all those who carry UK in their minds and hearts to return home. This includes pervious UK citizens who left for the previous reasons and One/proOne allies who simply want a fresher start. Help us rebuild this country to its former glory.

World events

Let us start with the countries who still occupy parts of the eUK:

Irelan😛
If you have missed it: We have signed peace with Ireland! Our president has written an article about it here: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-the-president-peace-be-with-you-1993854/1/20
The deal in short: We get Louth and Dublin for Scotland and North West of England. Thanks to them keeping Scotland, Canada couldn't attack us and we kept Northern Ireland for congress.

Canada:
While the UK and Ireland were happy with the peace deal, Canada wasn’t. They felt left out and wanted to fight for the UK regions. In response to the peace treaty, the Canadian president decided that Ireland should be a Natural Enemy . With no support of EDEN and his congress the Natural Enemy proposal was voted down. In reaction to this, an impeach vote was proposed. The situation in Canada is bad, the runner up in the previous election stole from Canada’s treasury in his last term, impeachment doesn’t seem to be the solution they want. So the turmoil in Canada continues, and probably will last until the next President Elections. France:
France are facing multiple foes now. Thanks to the recent victories of Slovenia in Switzerland and the recent victory in Italy, Slovenia and Serbia now have borders and an ongoing war with France. Since we took London we can also border France, meaning France has to fight off three different countries at the same time!

Macedonia/Spain/Brazil:
Thanks to the success of Macedonia in Italy they had a chance to attack the regions Brazil held in Spain. Currently, they are trying to get rid of the last region Brazil holds in Spain. This campaign has allowed Spain a congress this month.

Bulgaria/Turkey/Greece/Iran:
The moment Bulgaria decided to leave EDEN they decided to attack their enemy Turkey giving our ally Iran a chance to regain the regions Turkey took from them. Just in time for Iran to also secure a congress this month. In response of the aggression Bulgaria has shown towards Turkey, Greece has decided to attack Bulgaria. As of right now, the war is still going on. We will see if Iran can regain anymore of their regions and keep you updated on the battle results.

Hungary/Austria:
Hungary and Austria decided to land swap some of their regions.

Sweden/Russia:
The war between Sweden and Russia came to an end. They have signed a peace treaty which includes Russia renting Bohus from Sweden till the 20th of April.
