[MoFA] Let's Build a Stronger eAlbania

Day 1,617, 08:32 Published in Albania Albania by Roger Griswald

I became an eAlbanian citizen on March 8, 2012. When I joined the Albanian community, it was an eNation of 2,000 dedicated citizens working to regain its regions from the occupying forces of eSerbia. Many of my friends asked me why I choose to join eRepublik’s newest eNation, a place that was being crippled economically and militarily by its neighbours? The answer to me was a simple one. I saw great promise for eAlbania. While their new country was facing off in seemingly impossible conditions, there was a spirit of determination bound to a commitment of national unity unlike any other eNation I had seen before. I knew that things would change for the better, and I believed that I could help to build a new power in the Balkans… and I was right.

What a difference a short month has made. Today, we eAlbanians are over 5,000 strong, we have joined the EDEN alliance and we are growing into a force to be reckoned with in eRepublik’s most deadly region, the Balkans. All of our neighbor’s are starting to talk about the potential of eAlbania, a potential that I believe is far from being realised. I know that with the growth of eAlbania’s most impressive citizenry, our eNation will continue to strengthen. I predict that in the not too distant future, the black, two-headed eagle, our insignia, will fly on banners over the regions of eAlbania and EDEN’s enemies. When that day comes, I will be proud to count myself amongst the victors.

The success of eAlbania is due in no small part to the dedicated members of our government. Under the leadership of our first, only, and five-time Country President Napoleon 54 eAlbania has achieved great success. I was honoured to be appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs and am working to strengthen eAlbania’s place within EDEN, with our allies and to develop dialog with our enemies. As you can imagine, there is a lot of work to be done.

To help build on the work done to date, we have decided to establish embassies in other eNations. These embassies will help to strengthen communication between ourselves and other eNations, and hopefully develop meaningful bonds to advance eAlbania’s interests. With the establishment of embassies, we will also need ambassadors.

Ambassadors will act as the face of eAlbania in a foreign country, they will serve as a point of contact, help to improve relations, and in some cases act as the eyes and ears for eAlbania abroad. If you are interested in being an ambassador and are active eRepublik player, please click here to fill out the Ambassador Application Form.

Let’s keep building a strong eAlbania to realize our great potential.

In solidarity,

Roger Griswald
