[MoFA] International Lookout 5th - 17th

Day 2,158, 11:41 Published in United Kingdom North Macedonia by Foreign Office

Hey there,

Today we’re going to go back to the old MoFA type of articles, the ones that tell you about what’s going on around the world! There’s been a lot going on since the MoFA team started working this month, mainly focusing around North America, South America and Oceania. We’ll start off with North America:

As you can see visually, the USA was completely wiped from the map over the period with spain currently holding regions that it needs for bonuses (aluminium in maine which was transferred from polish hands as shown above). However, as of 12 hours ago, USA and Spoland have signed a treaty, I’ll sum it up briefly here but you can find the full verison here. The USA gives over 1 million CC to Poland, USA and Spoland agree to not fight each other for the next 3 months and USA regains most of its regions apart from the east coast/its original aluminium regions (although it does gain Baja which is a Mexican aluminium region so it won’t lose its overall bonuses). In my personal opinion, this is a fair treaty and could set the stage for better TWO-USA relations in the future.

Moving onto Oceania now:

As you can see above, Indonesia has lost large swathes of its land to Australia. Back at the start of the month, Australia had just been freed from occupation and only had 2 regions (Queensland and New South Wales) but now the roles are reversed with Australia holding all the cards and Indonesia down to its last three regions. Poland had joined the war but was only able to take a single region due to Australia blocking their path (although this may have delayed the overall conquest of Indonesia, this freed Poland from being locked into war with Indonesia).

Moving onto South America:

Once again, pro-TWO countries are gaining ground; in South America it’s Argentina against Chile. Argentina has already taken the ex-Peruvian and Bolivian regions that Chile held and is currently pushing into Chile’s original 5 regions.

That’s it for this article but there will be more from the MoFA team soon! If you can’t wait for more FA news then feel free to read the new TWO article here.
