We've come up with a new endeavor! Now, I'm sure you're aware, but MPPs cost quite a bit. Like, 10k. I had to slip a little stack of bills to USA to get the MPP last month, and while I'm happy that we have the MPP, it still costs a lot. As you know, we're wiped, and as you also know, the current fiscal report clearly indicates a downturn in expected earnings for the current quarter. As in, we don't wanna go broke. What's the glory in signing MPPs and winning RWs if we get rewiped, right? So that's why we're here with this new idea! What's it called?

Here's how it works. Canada is eager to help fund MPPs and show our love and support to all our friends around the world. Any help you can give us is great, and much appreciated!
The way this works is by donating money to me. Like, seriously. This way, I can check the form and be sure you sent in the cash you said you did. Not saiyan I don't trust you, but you know how it is. Mention how much cash you've pushed forward for the endeavor, and what nations you want that cash used to MPP. All the nations listed are buddies of ours (except Paraguay, but omg ♥), so all we need to do is get enough cash, and we'll be set! When a nation raises the 10k, we'll contact the government and propose an MPP, as soon as possible.
Now, what's the deal with this draw/sweepstakes? Well, it's silly to simply ask for stuff and not offer any incentive for all you Scrooges out there. So, you're allowed to put up to half of the funds you push forward up for the draw. Every 100 CAD you put up will get you a spot in the draw, and the more you donate, the larger prizes you'll see, and better chance for winning them! Don't worry, all of the money you put for MPPs will count towards actually funding MPPs, so joining the sweepstakes won't slow down how fast we raise money for a MPP. The only difference is that we (re: I most likely) would spend some cash to offer prizes
😛You're more than free to not participate and just help out with MPPs, and that's just as awesome! Maybe even a little more so, at least for my wallet

How do you pick the MPP after you donate?
Send me the funds, and click the link (Friends for Funds goes to a Google form)
Write down how much you sent me (I'm asking you to send it to me so I can verify it), then you'll have a question where you select any/all countries you want the money to go towards 🙂
With the 10 gold limit a day, I guess CAD is the preferred option

It's too difficult to expect everyone to give gold, and to encourage you to switch, you get more draws by giving cash 😉

I don't think I've seen anything like this before. Good thinking. The only problem is that only 1 mpp can be signed for any given 24 hours and you don't want to get them stuck in queue wating. So, donate carefuly, my friends. Consider when your favourite MPP ends and if there isn't one which ends sooner.

There's no real rush to get MPPs (unless we're tanking, and since when does that happen?), so I don't think it'd be an issue 😛
I know but if you have 5-6 waiting and you see a chance to do something awsome, you need 5-6 days to resign them. Of course, I guess priority must be given to Asgardians. ;d

This is a great idea, but this topic has nothing to do with Ministr of Foreign Affairs, so why are you in charge of it ? ( You are MoFA right ? ) MoD yes, MoIA yes, MoF yes, but MoFA ? Nooooo

Well, I do think that you are good MoFA, but still think that eCan gov should be organised better, so everyone can do his job as best as they can. GL
We don't have internal people, so I'm learning on the job. It applies to MPPs, so I consider it the outskirts of my influence 😛
This fits perfectly with a MoFA... The MoIA is tasked with new player retention and games/contests etc.
It also helps that Shoi's newspaper gets the most exposure.
