[MoFA] End of Term!

Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,

As you probably already have guessed form the title, this is the last article of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Month of June/July 2014. We, the foreign affairs team, hoped we've done a good job in informing you, the citizens, with articles.

We've put lots of work in not only the Getting-to-know-" series but also in the dialogues we had with officials from around the world. Our main goal was, as you probably already know, improving and maintaining relations with friendly nations. And if possible get into Aurora.

Unfortunately the last goal didn't happen, but that's not a big deal, we at least maintained and improved relations. Hereby, I, as Minister of Foreign Affairs want to thank Athena the Great, Lord Jale and Arcanic Mindje who helped me in the team this month. Also I want to thank Cody Caine and Lancer450, who helped our team in this month.

Now the month is almost over, I also want to thank you, in putting trust in me as minister. I'm feeling very honoured to have served you for one term, and I hope everything went as you wanted. Now, I, as minister, don't have something to add anymore, so now we'll have a message from Athena The Great!

Athena's words:

Since my arrival on the position of state secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs I did two interviews. I think there are very successful. I interviewed President, Minister of Defense and Minister of Foreign Affairs in the government of Italy and Macedonia. In addition, I made new friends and learned more about the inner state of their country in eRepublik. From these interviews we are nearing to our goal of joining Aurora. Those who are replacing us I am wishing good luck and let they continue to maintain our new friendships.

Honestly, what has changed? There has been no progress at all. I'm sorry for saying this, but I don't think the next winner will improve anything either.

Of course a lot has been done in private conversations, a lot of the progress we made in this month was within the private messages. We tried to establish, maintain and improve relations by dialogue.

You don't directly see the influence of dialogue, it will take time to see the consequences of it.

Voted! I commend both of you, Willem and Athena. You both managed to produce many interviews with many key officials from several countries throughout the month and you established important contacts across the eWorld and helped to improve relations during a period in which activity usually tends to wane. Good work. 🙂
