[MoFa]D-Day for all CP candidates - part 2

Day 1,597, 23:04 Published in United Kingdom North Macedonia by Foreign Office

In this second article we will do the same as in part 1 but now we will be looking at our other neighbours.
We had Canada, Ireland and France so that leaves Belgium, the Netherlands and Sweden.

Belgium

There are 3 good candidates in eBelgium. Let’s start with the one I predict will win the seat.

BrunoCND

This is a very young player but also a very active player. Last month, he ran and lost to a two clicking candidate and GoopyPants, who became CP after impeachment.

You can read BrunoCND’s manifesto here
and here

Bruno can be found on IRC (#eBrussels) very often. That and the fact he is being guided by both MaryamQ and Nojhis makes him the best placed candidate to win this election.

All TOgethers is only ranked 4th party in eBelgium but Bruno also can count on support by Res Belgicawhich is the biggest party and has the most active members.

His opponent:Jonathan Clayis candidate for the oldest party in eBelgium.

Belgians for Belgians is the second party and Jonathan is currently party president.

Jonathan is an older player than Bruno but isn’t so active on IRC.
You can read his maifesto here

The third candidate is the current CP:GoopyPants

He doesn’t bother with manifestos ingame, although he is a very active player but mainly on the forum.

GoopyPants runs for the The Om Partywhich is currently 5th on the ranking. Will he get his votes because he is outgoing CP?

The Netherlands

Only two candidates for the Netherlands:

van Spijck
lost last month’s election to Auggy and is willing to throw in his hat once again.

van Spijck will be 1 year in May. He has done a few different functions in The Netherlands already.

Minister of Foreign Affairs
congressman for GPN in Southern NL
captain of the Alpha unit
ambassador to Croatia, Belgium, Malaysia, Moldova and South Africa

If the people from The Netherlands chose for him they will have a true politician as their CP as you can read in his manifesto. He will do everything in his power to keep eNL linked with EDEN and try to balance out the relations with TERRA, which for them is very important because a lot of old NL people are residing in eUSA. You can read about it here.

The Geuzen Partij is rank 4, but van Spijck can also count on The Dutch Progressives which is ranked first and Independent party.

Mattio is the candidate for the same party as the previous CP Auggy. He is an old eRepublik player, but by the look of things, a long time not very active. You can find Mattio on IRC, as you will find van Spijck.

I will quote Mattio out of his first manifesto article:

It was about 3.5 years ago that I started playing eRepublik. Taking the break of 500 days in my calculation, I have been actively playing eRepublik for 2 years. In those years, I have served in many positions. A small selection: ambassador, European Region Leader, 2x Party President, 9x Congress Member, 2x Minister, 2x State Secretary, 1x Vice President, one of the rare UNLIN-agents, UNL Coach, 4x Debate Master...

His programme is not that different from from his opponent’s. He says he isn’t in favour of a new war with Belgium and wants to show TEDEN they are worthy of their trust.

Check out his newspaper and his wiki page.

His party, Democratisch Nederland is ranked second in the Netherlands. Together with the support from Iron and Wine they have a pretty good chance to win the election.

I will be looking forward to this election because they are both good candidates who have almost equal chance in winning.

Sweden:

Three candidates, but the winner seems to be clear.

The candidates are:

Thaimat: Supported by the big parties and seems to be the only serious contender to win the elections. Doesn’ t have a lot of political experience but he seems to be active. Wants to reform the military so that they do more damage when it’s needed. Wants to keep the deal they have made with the Germans.

Articles he wrote:

Horice G Fossil: Not a serious candidate. He has not released an article and didn’t put up any goals for the coming term. Only supported by his own party with 11 members in it.

Essess: Only supported by his own part which has four members in it. Didn’t put up a manifesto but did put up some goals. Doesn’ t seem to be a very serious candidate.

Good luck to all candidates!!
