[MoFA] Canada-India NAP Agreement
klop123
After negotiations with the Indian government, your Canadian Executive and congress approved a deal that will better both of our respective nations.
Historically, Canada has been the little guy in the wars, so we know how it feels to be at a disadvantage. That only made us more determined to come to a deal that ensures fairness for both sides.
NAP Agreement:
1. Canada occupies Northern India and Rajasthan
2. On the 20th of each month, N. India is released so India can be assured a 20 seat congress[1], this region is taken back by Canada on the 27th[2]. India will start the RW, with both nations fighting to secure it for India.
3. India agrees to help reset determination bonus when required.
4. Canada agrees to pay a rent of 1k cc total per week to compensate India for both regions, payable on the Sunday of each week
5. Canada & India sign a NAP
-i. Each nation ends hostility towards each other in RWs
-ii. India will fight to secure Canadian interests in the area (N India and Rajasthan), Canada will protect India territory included in the agreement against foreign hostility[3][4] including Kerala to secure India a congress
-iii. In the event that a non-approved Resistance War of Rajasthan succeeds or Northern India succeeds outside of the 20th to 27th, Canada shall declare India as a Natural Enemy to regain the lost region with India supporting the return of the aforementioned region.
6. The agreement must be renewed each month on the 6th.
The signatories hereby agree to the above conditions and will abide by them. The agreement is a sign of better relations between the two nations for months to come.

*[1]India will possess Kerala, so they can be assured a Congress with 20 seats.
[2]India is in negotiations with Argentina for a second region, to hopefully make this shuttling around of Northern India unnecessary. There is no reason for Canada to undertake a greater risk in Asia than Argentina is willing to.
[3]In the event that a non-approved Resistance War of Rajasthan succeeds or Northern India succeeds outside of the 20th to 27th, Canada shall declare India as a Natural Enemy to regain the lost region with India supporting the return of the aforementioned region.
[4]including Kerala.

Good work guys.
Calvin is a new friend to me but I'm hoping it is a long and profitable relationship. Lysander is a very old friend and confidant, he's top notch. I'm very happy that I was allowed to be a small part of this NAP. I have great expectations that our two countries will become friends similar to the feelings we have for Ireland.
Good work . 07
Great work Canada & India!
Congratz both!

Congrats
I don't like the idea of Canada occupying parts of a foreign country that aren't the uk or america.
I'm not wild about anyone controlling regions that are not their originals on a long term basis either. However this is a war game, the admins have dumbed it down to that being about all that's left. War is about someone invading another and that one trying to keep them out so inevitably that someone is going to hold another's region(s).
Fortunately there is the option of renting a region for some kind of benefit. Although it was not India's intention to rent us any regions and the whole plan was forced upon them the ball is now in Canada's court. We desire regions outside of North America to help prevent our ever being wiped again. Someone is likely to hold Indian regions by force simply because India is not currently able to hold them. Canada can and is reaching out to India to give them the maximum benefit to our being on their soil. We guarantee them a congress and are paying rent on what we use. We are working to include them in FA work in their region and desire to have amiable relations with them. In short we want to be friends.
If that's what the Indian people want, then cool. The question is what happens when they're fed up with us being there and what happens if an even bigger fish swallows those regions up, which is something that is far more likely than us holding their regions for an extended period of time.
Overall, it sounds like solid work by government
It wasn't what they wanted in the first place but sometimes second place, achieved while putting forth your best effort, ain't bad. From what I understand they are pleased and I have first hand experience that we are doing everything in our power to make sure the transition they are going through is as comfortable as possible.
The "what if" scenarios are always going to be there. eRep never stays the same long. I'd rather not speculate, just do what I can to be upfront and honest.
We can do that too 🙂. It wouldn't feel right if the UK wasn't in our sights once in a while.
This sounds like a good plan, especially if the eIndian Government is happy with it.
So i get a chance to fight alongside u again ? Sounds cool
Hail India! Hail Canada!
Nice work.
Then promptly losing Raj....
