[MoFA] Botschafter gesucht - Ambassadors wanted

Guten Abend,

Im letzten Monat lag das deutsche Botschaftsprogramm relativ auf Eis, das soll sich nun ändern. Gesucht werden Spieler, die seit mindestens 50 Tagen aktiv eRepublik spielen. Warum dieses Limit? Ganz einfach: Frischlinge kennen sich oft noch nicht ganz mit den Spielmechanismen aus, von der derzeitigen diplomatischen und militärischen Situation mal abgesehen. Erfüllst du diese Anforderung? Dann steht dir als eDeutscher Botschafter nichts mehr im Weg!



Wieso sollte ich Botschafter werden?

Die Arbeit als Botschafter war für so manch einen späteren Außenminister der Anfang der eigenen Karriere. Sie lässt dich neue Länder kennenlernen und gibt dir Einblick in die Politik eines Staates und eventuell sogar einer ganzen Allianz. Nicht nur das, du knüpfst nebenbei auch noch Kontakte für dein weiteres eLeben.

Außerdem wirst du, wie schon unter Shivao, für gute Arbeit bezahlt. Wöchentliche Kurzberichte über Wahlen, wichtige Ereignisse, etc. sind ebenso verpflichtend wie ein längerer monatlicher Abschlussbericht. Für den Abschlussbericht erhältst du als Botschafter 50cc. Darüber hinaus gibt es nochmals bis zu 50cc für Artikel, in denen du spezielle Ereignisse genauer beschreibst und eDeutschland mit Hintergrundinformationen fütterst.

Ganz besonders hervorheben möchte ich hier nochmal, dass Botschafter in Ägypten, Israel und dem restlichen Nahen Osten zusätzlich zu den 50cc vom Staat noch 25cc vom FSK Arabien und mir bekommen werden. Ich hoffe, damit das Interesse an der Region wecken zu können.



Was hab ich außer Artikel- und Berichteschreiben zutun?

Je nachdem ob du willst, kannst du dich in dem Zielland deiner Wahl für die dortige Staatsbürgerschaft bewerben. Das erlaubt es dir, einen besseren Einblick in die Geschehnisse des Landes zu bekommen und besser mit den Spielern dort in Kontakt zu treten.
Wie bereits gesagt, ist Kontakte knüpfen eine deiner Hauptaufgaben. Die Freundschaften und Bündnisse zweier Staaten beruhen auf diplomatischen Beziehungen, oft aber auch auf guten persönlichen Beziehungen.

Ganz wichtig ist außerdem, dass du regelmäßig die Artikel in deinem Zielland liest. Durch sie bekommst du einen besseren Einblick in die Politik des Landes, z.B. über die Intentionen hinter einem Gesetzesbeschluss.

Bevor ich es vergesse: IRC-Aktivität ist wichtig. Ohne im IRC aktiv zu sein, wird es dir weit schwerer fallen, mit Spielern aus deinem Zielland in Verbindung zu treten. Erkundige dich am besten gleich zu Beginn deiner Botschafterzeit nach dem IRC-Channel des Landes.



In welchen Ländern kann ich Botschafter werden?

Bedingt durch die Probleme im September werden die deutschen Botschaften noch einmal komplett neu organisiert. Interessenten können sich für jedes Land bewerben, bedenkt aber, dass frühere Botschafter eher für ein Land genommen werden als Neulinge. Bewerben kannst du dich hier!

Last month, the eGerman embassy program was on hold, this should be changed now. We are looking for players which play eRepublik for over 50 days. Why such a limit? Very simple: Newbies don't know the game mechanics that well, not to mention the current diplomatic and military situation. Do you meet this requirement? Then there's nothing between you and a career as an ambassador!



Why should I become an eGerman ambassador?

Many sooner Foreign Ministers began their MoFA career as an ambassador. You learn a lot about other countries and you get an incomparable impression of a country's politics, maybe even of an alliance's policy. Not only that, you will also establish lots of contacts for your future in eRepublik.

Another good reason is that you get a good payment. Weekly reports about elections, important incidents etc. are as obligatory as a monthly final report. For the final report, you will get 50cc. Furthermore you can earn up to 50cc for every well-prepared, with background information added article in which you describe a special issue.

I want to set a specific focus on ambassadors in the Middle Eastern countries like eEgypt, eIsrael etc. In addition to the 50cc they get from eGermany, they will also receive 25cc from the FSK Arabien and me. I hope that I can arouse interest for the region.



What do I have to do except writing reports and articles?

If you want, you can apply the citizenship of the country where you want to work. In this way, you can see behind the curtain and get a better insight into the country. Besides you will meet the people much better there.

As written above, establishing contacts is one of your major task. The friendship or alliance between two countries are based on diplomatic relations, but often also on good personal connections.

Also important is that you have to read the articles of the country where you work. While reading, you get a good insight into the country's politics, e.g. why a country make this a that decision.

Before I forget: You should try to be active on IRC. Without being active on IRC, it will be much harder to get in contact with people from the country where you want to work. Preferably you ask the CP or MoFA for the country's IRC channel.



In which country can I become ambassador?

As a result of the problems in September, the embassies will be completely reorganized. You can apply for every country, but please keep in mind that former ambassadors will be rather chosen than an ambassador-newbie. You can apply here!
