[MOF] Public Pole On Taxation

Day 1,857, 09:01 by St0L3n1
Asalaam-O-Alikum & Hello to my countrymen

As you all aware of current economical situation, we plan and deploy the current taxation system on very high recommendation but seems like it didn't work for us.

At this time I would seriously like to put few option's on the table to collect some good amount in country treasury. I also like to tell you about our minimum monthly budget which is around 40,000 CC which only cover our 4 mpp. Our current monthly income is around 10,000 or less.

Our Current Taxation Menu
Incometax: 10% Food & Weapon (Applied On your salary)
VAT: 5% Food & Weapon (Applied on your goods you sell in market)
Import Tax: 1% Food & Weapon (Applied on international sellers)

My Opinion for Taxation
Incometax: 10%
Vat: 3% Food & 7% Weapon
Import Tax 5% Weapon & 3% Food

Please post your review on the above suggestion ASAP.

Income tax: 10%............look at the income...10 to 15 rupees salary....
Vat: 3% Food & 7% Weapon...........will make it hard for new players to survive......
Import Tax 5% Weapon & 3% Food....agree

Why do you increase the import tax? I doubt it there are enough producers to meet the demand...

P.S. I don't have pakestani license : )

If the Citizenry/Military Units/Government cannot sustain Communes in good working order:

Income tax: 25% (It applies to all Industry, even RM's)
VAT: 1%; Stay at Current
Import Tax: 1%; Stay at Current

If we can Unite Behind State Communism effectively through National Orgs:

Income tax: 25% (It applies to all Industry, even RM's)
VAT: 25%; Stay at Current
Import Tax: 99%; Stay at Current

If we can Unite a debased Commune System, not State Sponsored:

Income tax: 25% (It applies to all Industry, even RM's)
VAT: 1%; Stay at Current
Import Tax: 99%; Stay at Current

RESULT:EXPLOITATION

St0L3n1 Day 1,857, 09:29

So you are saying that

If the Citizenry/Military Units/Government cannot sustain Communes in good working order:

Income tax: 25% (It applies to all Industry, even RM's)
VAT: 5%; Stay at Current
Import Tax: 1%; Stay at Current

Is best option for us right now?

I think Income Tax is a more stable Revenue model. If we apply more VAT, people will shop in China like all the other vassal states

kami4u11

I believe 1% tax is nothing. it should be at least 5%. This is because population of our Country is very low.

Income tax: 15%
Vat: 5% Food & 7% Weapon
Import Tax 7% Weapon & 2% Food

I'm not sure income tax will generate much revenue these days. Most products are created through WAM; only way to tax them is with VAT, but VAT is also easy to dodge. It might just come down to donation or sales of products from state-run communes.

St0L3n1
St0L3n1 Day 1,858, 04:27

Actually my major concern is about increasing import tax on weapon.

Embrace state capitalism. System is broken, too many loopholes. We should be exploiting the holes to our advantage.

dodial
dodial Day 1,858, 07:55

Mate, you and others proposing higher taxes clearly have zero understanding of the game. You have already messed up local sales by changing vat to 5%, your proposal will kill sales.
What you utterly fail to understand is that just putting up the percentage doesn't increase income. Sales drive VAT and by putting up tax you kill local sales. Producers would either sell on iTrade or simply in other countries, simply because nothing would get sold on our market with noncompetitive prices.
Problem is, you suggestions are just in the air. Go back and make some projections, at what rate and how many products do you think would get sold when prices inflate due to taxes?

If you really want to help the economy, drop VAT on both items to 3%, this would make our prices more competitive and increase local sales.

Mohammad Zohaib Jafri
Mohammad Zohaib Jafri Day 1,858, 08:28

agreed with the arguments of dodial, by reducing vat we can hope for increase in sales. this will indirectly increase our revenue by higher proportion than it could be by increased taxes. we just need to apply simple economics over. higher prices will drive everyone to china, which is the last thing we want to see

Mohammad Zohaib Jafri
Mohammad Zohaib Jafri Day 1,858, 08:43

sometimes our food prices get so high that push everyone to neighbouring markets. the best way for increasing revenue and helping new citizens at the same time is by reducing taxes. simple demand and supply rule might help us. we can at least try this option, if it wont work than we can change it for something more better.

St0L3n1
St0L3n1 Day 1,858, 10:22

@dodial sure i mention the same in my previous articles, but that's only a part of one complete projects, we are missing the JOB part around here in the end of every conversation we end up same. On every platform I tried to convince our old & strong players to come back to ePakistan and start hiring ppl on good salary.

Actually we can't fill this gap if we don't have a good production. In current term we are truly movin on PVT funds but for how long? In every political mess up we end up like players living eNation which is killing the eNation economy big time. I hope everyone of us should understand if we are playing this game we should play our part too.

So i guess this is where i again appeal to all OLD & STRONG players of ePakistan please come back to eNation
